  3. When using "add another reservation" it should be possible to change guest/customer name. Instead of adding rooms for same person

    Thank you for sharing your request with us. It is currently possible to add a new guest profile when adding another reservation to an existing group.


    In order to do this, you can click on the  add another reservation button > Mews will pre-fill the date range and open the second step of the new reservation screen > In the customer section select the "X" to remove the current profile that has been pre-filled and add the name of the new customer you would like to add. This will create a new reservation with the name of the new customer to your group.


    Should you have any issues, please contact our customer care team.

  4. Insert a day by day rate per block manually instead of selecting an existing rate that has the wrong prices. Because we don't have fix block prices and maybe there are multiple blocks for one day with another rate.

  5. With the new availability report I am missing the calendar dates.
    What is important to check the availability for example with close-out dates.

    Is it possible to add the calendar to the new availability report ?

    This would really help. Now I am still working with the old report.

  6. First of all: I like that there is a symbol / notification in Commander (in the top right) for new releases.

    But once I have clicked on it, I would like that it disappears, also after logging out and back in.

    It basically should only appear, once there is a new release note. Because like that I always know that there is something new I should read.
    But if I receive a notification (--> the icon shows up in the top right), but there is no new release note, it's a bit frustrating if there is no new release note.

  9. In a big chain with 12500+ travel agents, it is a must to being able to look on IATA number. A lot of TA's have the same name but may have another IATA number.

  10. it is actually unworkable as it will try to update for at least 2 minutes (no exaggeration!)
    it does it for as good as all the actions you and you basically need to open a new mews session (or risk that you forgot what you were about to do in the first place)

    We are happy to inform you that we have resolved the performance issues for the system.

    You and your team should be able to run Mews at an improved speed. Should you continue to experience performance issues, please do let us know.

  11. Would like the ability to save favorite reports in Mews rather than have to reset the filters each time. We can save this for export, but if I only wish to view the report, I must reset the filters each time and remember the previous setting used. This is cumbersome and prone to mistakes.

    If there was a favorite report section under the burger menu, it would be easy to access specific areas in Mews to display reports that are frequently used. These can be exported or printed, but in most cases, just need to be able to save the…

    Thank you for the feedback.

    It is currently possible to view your favorite reports with the filters preselected by using custom links. You can set this up by:

    1. Opening a report in Mews > select the filters you require.
    2. Click “View” to apply the filters.
    3. Copy the URL and paste it in as a custom link.
    4. Save your custom link and refresh the page
    5. You will now be able to access the report with pre-selected filters by opening the burger menu > select custom links > select the custom link you have created

    It is also possible to access the custom links using a keyboard shortcut. You can learn more about both in the guide linked below:

  12. Registration cards in the US legal environment are in the wrong format: DD/MM/YYYY.
    The correct format according to the local standard should be MM/DD/YYYY.

    We are very happy to inform you that Mews does not allow you to check a new guest in before the previous reservation was checked out.

  14. Onthe Resume of the reservation, an idea would be to have the Day of the date, mentioned next to Arrival & departure
    So when you check reservation, or have a guest on the phione asking you to dubbel check the res. with him, you can easear sya, tyou arrival on Wednesday 2 sep and C/O on friday 4/9

Mews has always strived to connect with as many integrations as possible, however as we are continually finding great new software to work with, we'd like to introduce the possibly of installing integrations directly from Mews Commander. This means that adding new integrations would be easier than ever, bypassing requests to integration partners and enabling automatic token sharing.

  17. It would be useful to be able to name a scheduled report. E.g. you may have multiple reports on the 1st of the month and it would be great if you could name the exports, such as "KPI report", "Operations report", etc, so they're easy to distinguish and identify.

  18. can we avoid manual work i.e. putting names / creating profiles when we receive rooming list for groups ?
    Anyway for Mews to read and process rooming list in Excel or Word form ?

  19. When selecting a room on the timeline and seeing the Details pane on the right side of the screen. Mews displays whether the guest has "checked-in online" or if they are "to be checked-in", however doesn't show the status of the room ie. CLE, DIR or INS.
    Would be beneficial to see if the room is clean or not to enable a faster and more pleasant check-in experience for the guest.
    A simple icon (similar to the one on the "Room Status" section) would be incredibly helpful.

  20. How is is not possible to move guests to another room, without making a new reservation or splitting a reservation. Too much work in to a simple action. Too much work where is no extra time for these trying times with too little employees.

    We currently offer several ways to move reservations including dragging and dropping reservations to another room from the timeline, as well as the ability to move reservations to another space from the status tab of the reservation screen or to a different space category from the properties tab on the reservations screen.
