  2. You should be able to send out your own invoices. It's important for us to transport our image and the our experience in all aspects of our communication. The invoices provided by muse are visually very unattractive. I understand that Mews has tried to find a presentation of the invoice that fits all standards but yet again i don't understand why you can't make it possible to send out your own invoices that pull data from Mews next to the standard invoice created by Mews.   3. The routing rules allows us to route the following options;
    1 - Only reservations that are prepaid in online travel agency (OTA)
    2 - All reservations with this company or travel agency attached

    we noticed that option 1 does not route prepaid reservations by VC.
    As Bcom does indicate its a VC instead of a prepaid to TA. We cannot apply routing to this TA. As they do not have separate TA profiles for VC and CC as Expedia has, we currently cannot distinguish which ones should be routed.

  4. I am not sure whether to put it here or under Commander (sorry).
    But I have an idea to automate a lot of the Lost & Found processing.

    In the Commander where housekeeping can change the room status, there should also be a section "Lost & Found" added. A housekeeper or the Housekeeping Manager can create a lost & found ticket so the item can be labeled with the number given by the system. This will make it easy to track.

  8. Order spaces within the Space category in the timeline.
    At the moment, we can't order bedrooms as we wish in the timeline.
    Depending on the location of the bedroom in the building, it makes more sense to have it in a certain order.
    The default order does not facilitate operations.

    We are very happy to inform you that we provide the following reservation states:

    Pending (Inquiry) – this state shows reservations as “inquired” in the system but it does remove any rooms from your inventory.

    Optional – when reservations are created in the optional state they are set and tentative in the system and can be automatically released. Optional reservations will remove rooms from your inventory.

    If you would like to know more about the states mentioned above, please contact our customer care team.

    We would like to know more about how you envision working with “probability %” and waiting lists. If you have anymore use cases or scenarios for the waiting list, please feel free to share them with us.

  14. Tasks that are automatically created for bookings based on rate code, company, travel agent or rate group. For example: with a special promo including a dinner all guests need to be contacted with regards to dietary restrictions OR
    all booking that are received from HRS the CC details still need to be retrieved from the extranet eetc. etc.

  15. When a guest ask for a quotation with different kind of product (night, breakfast, lunch, dinner, pic nic……) it would be great to have the complete breakdown with each product clearly identified.
    Currently, Mews does not offer the possibility to identify products and offer the total amount without any detail.

  16. Option to choose automatic housekeeping services to be applied on all bookings that has a stay for more than x days, such as towel change every x days and bedlinen every x days during a stay. Also the option to manipulate, add or move these services to other days. A report on all these services should be possible to access so that the housekeeping team can organize and plan the work volume for the upcoming xx days.

The search function is useful for quickly finding a reservation or customer profile, however with some compound names and or prefixes attached to names of certain nationalities, it makes this function harder to use since partial searching is currently not possible. Expanding this search function could improve this feature to allow searching for any and all parts of a customer's name, making results more accurate and data easier to navigate.

  20. Spaces are often priced by category, however additional pricing schemes could become available with the possibility of pricing spaces according to the number of guests accommodated. With the availability of occupancy-based pricing options, properties would have the possibility to set rate price based on the number of people staying in the space rather than applying an empty bed adjustment. This would enable much more pricing flexibility for revenue managers, which could additionally provide even more attractive prices for guests.
