    Thank you for the feedback.

    We are very happy to inform you that it is possible to print empty registration cards.

    The feature can be set up from your registration card configuration settings. Under the “Options” menu, select “Print based on person count”. When this setting is enabled, you will be able to print an additional blank registration card for all reservations where companion details have not yet been completed.

    Dear Team,
    Sorry to hear that you find it overwhelming when we update you about the features we are working on.
    We have improved the workflow, and now you’ll not receive pop-up messages but rather you have a small icon in the PMS – where with a click of a button you can review all the updates. Thank you for the feedback once again!

  4. At the moment it is not possible to send messages from the Mews Commander app only receive them. It would be a quick and useful tool for the Mewsers e.g. to communicate from HK to FO.

    Hello Mewsers,

    Thank you for the feedback and upvotes. We are very happy to inform you that it is possible to filter the reservation overview arrival report by alphabetic order as requested.

    In order to make use if this feature, you can select the “Ordering” filter in the “Arrivals” tab, and select “Customer”. This will automatically order your reservations in ascending order, alphabetically.

  7. Currently, stay products are posted on bills on the day of a guest's checkout, however, this can complicate the billing process for some properties. Therefore, splitting stay products per night and listing them on day of consumption could be very helpful for clarity and also for reporting, as revenue per day would be visible in Accounting and Manager reports.

    Stay products are now posted on the date they’re consumed. All existing products have been replaced with products with the updated settings. Any products posted to an existing, future reservation were also updated to the new posting settings.

    How do you like the feature so far and do you have any ideas for the future?

  10. Mews should not impose anything on our official document. Moreover, if Mews wants to make a change on the official documents, they should warn us before.
    Hence we notice that our invoices and pro-format are now labelled "Factuur" (dutch word for invoice). But we do not use dutch in our system.
    Forcing us to use dutch language on our english or french invoices is just
    not right.

  11. This property was asking for a way to add a discount percentage to an invoice before they close the bill in a way they will not have to calculate it themselves manually. Right now the only way to do that is to create a product but they will still need to calculate the total price after the discount.

  12. As a group reservations agent I often handle requests for large group reservations of 50 + guests. Many of these request come from business, travel agents or private tour groups. I generally have a single point of contact from the time reservations are made to the final confirmation prior to arrival.

    Between the booking and confirmation process I often have to make several alterations to the reservation, which can consists of anything from adding/ removing guests to moving guests to different rooms. Many of the communications I have with clients (bookers/reservation owners) are done via email where I often share…

  14. There's a current "spent night report" which you can filer by segments, but it only gives you the occupation. It would be nice to know how much each segment produced, and to be able to filter that with/without commissions and with/without taxes.

    Thank you for the feedback and suggestions, we are very happy to inform you that the space status report allows you to filter by alternate reservation states.

    You can choose whether you would like to view reservations that have been confirmed (definite reservations) , reservations that are currently optional or both! Simply select the “status” filter in the reservations report and apply the changes that you would like to view.

    Hello Mewsers!

    Thank you for your continued feedback and suggestions.

    We are happy to inform you that tentative, or as we’ve called them “Inquired” reservations are available in Mews Commander.

    You can create reservations with the Inquired state from the third step of the new reservations screen by selecting the “Status” dropdown and clicking “Inquiry”.

    Inquired reservations do not take spaces out of inventory, you can, however update the status of the reservations to either optional, confirmed or cancelled. Updating the status of a reservation to confirmed or optional will assign a room for your chosen reservation.

    In addition to the above inquired reservations can also be created with a release date.

    We are happy to inform you that we have added the ability to access the billing screen directly from the timeline.

    In order to make use of this functionality all you need to do is select a reservation from the timeline, from there you will see the billing icon in the side menu. Selecting this icon will open the billing screen as shown in the attached image.

  20. Some properties have specific billing preferences for some products, so properties could assign some items to OTA or company bills automatically, while others would be transferred to the guest's bill for payment.
