i keep getting error messages when trying to delete an empty ledger
this is now the second or third day this is happening!
really annoying and wasting a lot of time having to refresh after every billing handling, especially as system has been really slow at times in the last two or three days.

Commander Touchscreen Sensitivity on iPad Results in Wrong Input
When using Commander on an iPad, when selecting links such as under Finance, Reports and Reservations the links are very close together and when touched, there is no response or incorrect input as your finger may accidentally touch the wrong link. You have to be careful where you touch. On a laptop or computer, there doesn't seem to be a problem but with a smaller screen there is a challenge. Maybe spacing these links slightly more apart or using a slightly larger font would help in accidental input.

To move current stay-overs to a different room
How is is not possible to move guests to another room, without making a new reservation or splitting a reservation. Too much work in to a simple action. Too much work where is no extra time for these trying times with too little employees.

We currently offer several ways to move reservations including dragging and dropping reservations to another room from the timeline, as well as the ability to move reservations to another space from the status tab of the reservation screen or to a different space category from the properties tab on the reservations screen.

task field
Is it possible to make the task field in MEWS bigger again so that you can drag the field to write info in it?
Before the update, you could drag the "Description" window larger using the arrows at the bottom right.

New Billing Adjustment
I don't mind the new billing screen, once you get used to it, it is quite easy to use.
One thing I would suggest is that in the new billing screen, we move a lot of items to Paymasters and we now can't see which item belongs to which guestIt used to show as:

Overbooking Filter to Reservation Report
please add an overbooking filter in the reservation report. So you can find these unallocated bookings easier and quicker

SC Number in Company Profile
At the moment the SC number is posted at the IATA field which is incorrect.
Please create a new field for the SC number and include it into the reporting.The SC number is the international ID for companies within Accor and helps to ensure to have the correct company profile selected.
This "little" change would effect allot and would be highly appreciated not only from MOA Berlin but all Accor hotels using MEWS worldwide.

See a month or longer on the timeline
like when you are scrolling up / down you condense the number of spaces displayed on the timeline, you should also be able to do that with the number of days displayed. It would be great if you would be able to see at least one full month on the timeline (ideally would be at least two months!)

Hi, it would begerat if the product report showed all products, not only stay products, as we have many products and would like to find and filter them for statistics.

New billing needs to be removed or improved !
The new billing feature is awful. it is not easy to read or negotiate at all.
I can see that a lot of people feel the same and Mews resistance to change this back. Please listen to your users. I do not see how this new features improves anything at all.
If a guest has a lot of bookings coming up it is even worse.

Since you shared your comments with us 2 months ago we have been working continuously to improve the new billing screen in order to ensure that it not only meets the standards of the old billing screen, but opens up the opportunity to begin surpassing the functionality feature set of the old billing screen.
We have split the billing screen into 2 views. A group view accessible by selecting the “Billing” tab on the top right had side of the reservation screen and an individual view accessible by selecting the billing icon next to a guests name, or by selecting “all guest bills” from the group billing screen.
The group billing screen gives you an overview of all reservations and companions within a group for the current stay period. Whereas the individual billing screen will show you all bill items…

Option to add bedrooms to a meeting event
When we have a meeting room booked and the company would like add bedrooms to their booking. So everything is connected and is clear that the reservations are for the same event.
1 voteHi, to create new reservation of another bookable service linked to a reservation of the Meeting room, please, use Reservation group functionality.
You can use the same dates, details etc - just use the "Add another reservation" button in the Reservation flow.
Alternatively, you can create a new reservation for the accommodation and merge it with the meeting room booking - again, everything will be in the same reservation group.

deleting house use bookings crashes the system
every time you delete a house use booking it crashes the system. a couple of days ago it just took about 2 minutes to process through the system, since yesterday it crashes the actual page and you have to re-open a new mews to continue your work. totally frustrating

US Registration card - date format
Registration cards in the US legal environment are in the wrong format: DD/MM/YYYY.

Assign task in reservation
It would be handy if it would be possible to directly assign a task to someone in a reservation, for example extra bed for housekeeping, as extra next to linking a reservation to a task.

In order to perform this action:
1. Select a reservation > select the status tab >
2. Scroll down and select “Create task”. 3. This will open the task form where you can both, create a task and assign it to either an employee or department. -
Option to create “Dummy” Space Categories
Idea:
Having Dummy spaces is immensely helpful for hotels, so we can place those guests over there. These are those guests who are not going to arrive or who have booked with an invalid cc. By placing the reservation in dummy, we keep them on a waiting list, while at the same time keeping the reservation active on the OTA channel!
It allows us to give preference to guests who pay and weed out fake/ fraud bookers
Dummy allows us to directly release the room online and keep the timeline sorted, without having to change the occupancy/ availability manually every…

Meals for children
When we charge the breakfast, the price is the same for the adults of for the children we can't make a difference. It'd b great if we can fix this: the products are adjusted with the number of adults/children in the room

Room move during the stay of our Guest
A guest stays in the hotel for a longer period of time. Now he has to move to another room. It would be nice if there is a possibility to move this room. For example with drag and drop. As an alternative, the booking should be marked with a symbol so that you can recognize the guest is staying longer in the house!

It is currently possible to split a reservation during a guests stay.
You can perform this action by opening a reservation → selecting the “properties” tab. In the section “Split reservation”, select the date and time that the guest will begin their stay in the new room.
Once you’ve select “Ok”, you will be able to view two reservations for the guest. The current reservation will be labelled “Checked in”, and the reservation for a future date will be labelled “Future”.
From here you can move the either reservation to a desired space.

task filters disappear
every time you complete a task, the filters disappear / clear. that has never happened before and is rather annoying to be honest. it is a waste of time having to (re)set them after each action.
