It would be useful if a check / select box can be added next to an individual date range in a reservation rather than selecting/deselecting the whole reservation block with all the dates booked.
If one of the dates ranges room type need to changed for example I do not have to select it all one by one, time consuming if it is a group booking of 40 rooms per day19 votes

Report that separates OTA's by 'Multiple Selected Travel Agencies'
Meaning, we can pull a report for all revenue from all booking and also a report for just OTA'S (Not Brand Website), with a percentage against all bookings1 vote
Thank you for sharing your feedback with us. You are currently able to group by “Reservation source” in the reservations report in order to see a list of all reservations separated by OTA. If you view the report in “Totals” mode, you will be able to view the percentage of reservations from each OTA.
In order to view the report separated by travel agencies, you can select the filter group by “Travel agency”. If the report is “Totals” mode you will be able to see a breakdown of revenue from each agency as well as a breakdown of a percentage against the bookings.

It would be useful to have a mail template to be sent a few days before the guest arrival, as a reminder, but also to let them have directions to the hotel, useful info regarding events during their stay etc.87 votes
We have template called “Before start” which is automatically sent 48 hours before the guest’s arrival.
This template is partially customizable. You can customize Subject, Headline, and Paragraph. (please see the attachment)

It would be such a timesaver to be able to print all the registration cards for one day (/today) with one click!11 votes
We have reviewed the request to print multiple registration cards in one go for the day, this is currently possible from reservation overview report.
You can perform this action by selecting a date you would like to print the registration cards for (it can be the current date or a date in the future), click the button “Registration cards” on the top right. This will open a new tab with all of the registration cards for the date you have selected, from here you will be able to print out the registration cards.

I’m happy to announce that it is now possible to create multiple bookable services in Mews and start offering offices, meeting rooms, desks or parking spots to your guests.
There is a dedicated timeline and reporting for each new service. Services can be offered on daily or overnight basis.
The process of creation of new bookable services is described in these two guides:
A guest stays in the hotel for a longer period of time. Now he has to move to another room. It would be nice if there is a possibility to move this room. For example with drag and drop. As an alternative, the booking should be marked with a symbol so that you can recognize the guest is staying longer in the house!6 votes
It is currently possible to split a reservation during a guests stay.
You can perform this action by opening a reservation → selecting the “properties” tab. In the section “Split reservation”, select the date and time that the guest will begin their stay in the new room.
Once you’ve select “Ok”, you will be able to view two reservations for the guest. The current reservation will be labelled “Checked in”, and the reservation for a future date will be labelled “Future”.
From here you can move the either reservation to a desired space.

Right now, marking a room requires the use of a drop down menu. This menu is small, and not colour coded.
Instead, putting 4 buttons with colour and icons will help housekeepers use this app.
We have housekeepers with limited ability to read, and some who are not adept to technology. This would help both tremendously.25 votes
Thank you for the feedback, we are happy to inform you that the Commander mobile app allows you to update the status of the room by swiping left on the space who’s state you would like to change.
Swiping left will also revel each state that can be identified by different coloured buttons.

Our regular guests want the same room every reservation, right now we need to assign and block this space to them manually. My idea is to have select box to select the favorite room number of a guests in their 'profile' internals. By this MEWS can automatically block the favorite room of the guest when the reservation is made.105 votes

Head over to a customers profile and, select the “internals” tab then click on “Preferred space features” to mark the preferences for your loyal guests.
Tip: Make sure that you have space features setup to ensure that the guests are automatically assigned to the correct room.

Thank you for your feedback. We are very happy to inform you that as per your request we have added the option to customise your confirmation email per space type.
In order to make use of this functionality:
1. Select a space category (settings > property > space categories)
2. Scroll down to “Order email template”
3. Enter the text you would like to be sent to your guests and hit save.
4. The text will now appear under the “Additional info” section of your confirmation email for the desired space.
NOTE: The text does not need to be in custom HTML to appear correctly in the email.

When you're creating a new reservation inside a guest reservation/group (extension) you'll have to add, again, the guest profile. It would be way easier and faster if the guest profile was added automatically by default.21 votes

On the timeline sometimes when we have over bookings we need to play the old tetris move some people and re-arrange their stay in order to fit everybody in, however when there is hardly any room you cant simply move the bookings easily. what would be very very VERY useful will be to have a section where you could dump up to 3 bookings in order to make some room while you try to fit everyone in. kinda like a blank space at the top of the timeline or a little pool for tetris you know you can even call it the tetris pool. It could really make life easier! I´m sure you are experiencing the same, wouldnt this be great?
As a work around we are having to create a fake room to dump people in while we arrange everybody but this obviously isn't convenient.

With the addition of the Optimise Space allocation on the timeline, the old tetris game just got easier!
Not only do you have to worry less about playing tetris on the timeline, you can also choose to move reservations to an extra slot from the reservations module by selecting “none” instead of selecting a room number; this action can be performed for several reservations.
You’ll now be able to view the reservation(s) that you have moved in the overbooking slot from the timeline, from here you can easily arrange and rearrange reservations as per your preference, or select the optimise timeline button to automatically move the reservations to an optimal location.
Add extra line at the top in timeline to implement large events in City or warnings or international holidays.
We are a Boutique hotel with 40 rooms without meeting rooms. Located In between centre of Amsterdam and a large (RAI) conference Centre. In case of large conferences or Events in the city we can sell at higher rate than leisure. Because these city wide conference are known for years ahead we like to have a space on top of timeline to place the name of the event with warning like "only sell high' or 'do not offer to groups' .151 votes
Now you can add special events or notes in your Enterprise Settings. These show as an icon & note on the Timeline & Rate Management screens, and on the Availability and Occupancy reports.

It would be grate with a tablet that is on the reception counter, where the registration card comes up for the to sign or input data. That way we would save a lot of time and paper17 votes

Please do let us know if you feel there are any additional missing use cases for groups.
Even if there is only a stayover in one bed of a dorm, the whole room should be marked as dirty the next morning, so that HK know they have to check it. So you don't risk to book guests into a dirty room15 votes

I’m happy to inform you that it is now possible to create spaces/resources without a category and see them on the timeline + assign them house uses. The resources are currently not bookable through the standard channels and can be really “reserved” only for an internal usage.
