  1. We don't have 24 hour reception so it would be helpful if, when reception closes, we can put a restriction / stopsell on the remaining rooms so no one can book them after hours

    We are currently adding a Restriction with the start date and end date being the same to get around this issue
    Blocking multiple rooms is also time consuming and alters management reports

    As great as Mews is, I've used 6 other PMS and this is the first one to not have a feature similar to this

  2. When an inhouse guest must move rooms for whatever reason such as extended stay or change due to category capacity or to another catagory that Mews is able to see this and combine the entire stay into one booking for our registration cards. So that we have a complete record of where the guest will be in house during their stay. At the moment we must print seperate registration cards for each invividual room.

  3. Duplicated reservations currently needs manual removal, to create automation to allow for bulk deletion of duplicated reservations.

  4. During the rate setting we use round figures ( 99€ for one night) but when we use a discount of 10% for example, the rate for the room will show up on the website like this : 89.1€. This is not efficient.
    Is this possible to choose how we want to display the rate, in fact we would like to use round figures on the website, the idea is the round it.

  5. Often when guest book in advance we have to search all over the calendar which room are overbooked. When this happen, instead of spending time searching between 2 years, Mews could simply show which dates are overbooked so we could access it straight away

  6. Add a privilege to control who is able to revert cancelled reservations so that some users are able to revert cancelled reservations outside of the occupancy interval without having to adjust the occupancy interval setting.

  7. It would be really great if we could quickly add notes to a booking from the timeline, in the side panel that opens when you click on a reservation.

    Now, to add a note you have to click once to view the details, once on Manage, then in Properties and scroll down to add notes.

  8. Show Products that are priced as a package in the confitmation mails or give the option to choose in the product setting wether a product should be displayed in the mails and shown to the customer or not.

  10. It is a real shame, that in your support email replies you cannot include at the bottom the initial requests which shows a detailed explanation of the issue submitted.
    So one has to always dig back to find out what one originally said in a previous email. With several tickets open this can get really confusing.
    I would highly recommend you change your system, so the full history of conversations is always on ONE ticket, including the original request.

  11. Is there a way to move one or more bookings from one group to either a new one or another already excising group?
    merge doesn't work as it somehow moves ALL the group bookings even if you only have ticked those that you need to move.
    if not possible, could it be made possible please as sometimes you add a booking by mistake and now you need to cancel it and make again. if the guest is already in-house, that is of course not an option!

  13. Hello. We need a report that indicates when a guests added nights to their stay.
    Currently under the updated reports section it includes any reservation that had even a minor change, like a note added or another person.

    Ex. lets say I have a guest that books for Oct 1-31 for $100 a night for a total of $3100. On Oct 15 they tell you they want to add the month of November so another 30 days an additional $3000. When I look at the booking it shows total revenue of $6,100. When I submit my weekly report of what…

  14. Currently there is no ROB (Rooms On the Books) report available in mews. According to the support, the reservations report could be used. However, this report can in no way be used to make forecasting or analyses due to the terrible lay-out.

    So please provide a proper ROB-report as this is the standard in the hospitality.

  16. Changing the colour from light grey to dark grey when a guest checks in is ok. but being able to assign colours to reservations to be able to see clearly groups, certain OTA bookings etc

  19. When opening the new product report, and then selecting the service type, the report SHOULD automatically provide only the product categories attached to this service type.

    Then, upon selecting or deselecting the category, the products listed should be ALL ACTIVE products, and not 'some' deleted products and some active products, and it definately should not an INCOMPLETE list of products.

    Alternatively, in the product details, one should be able to designate the product to be 'listed' or 'unlisted' in the product reports default setting.

    Speed in combination with paperless is of essence; and when "all products" is selected, it occurs…

  20. Problem: booker doesn't receive confirmation/option with guest names

    solution:
    -add guest names to the reservation confirmation/option email.
    -create more specific summary export including rooms, names, reservation ID, arrival, departure
