Action Log commands are not understandable
Hi all,
the action log sould be more easier to understand.
The commands / logs that are recorded are not clear enough.
If a guest checks out at the Mews Kiosk then in the action log it is:State changed from Started to processed ....
That doesnt make any sense and staff do not know what action was beeing done. Better is to state: checked in or checked out...

Deleting products in total
It would be nice if Mews would finally make it possible to delete products from a group booking in total, rather than having to go into each reservation individually. Thank you!

Synxis > Mews integration > Routing rule for travel agencies
With the Synxis > Mews integration we have the option to enable "Create company and travel agency profiles". Is it possible to also include a second step which creates a routing rule for the agency?

New interval for Exports
Be able to programme an export for an interval of 10 days.
We analyse the management report by 10-day periods: from 1 to 10 - from 11 to 20 - from 21 to the last day of the month.
It would be useful to be able to programme an export that includes these 3 intervals + the total for the month.2 votes -
Merge two breakfast parts with different VATs to one
In germany we have to split breakfast in two parts: breakfast food with 7% VAT and breakfast drinks with 19% VAT. This is complicated for the guest to understand as we need two breakfast products and also for the breakfast team in the product report. Does anyone have a solution for that or is there a possibility to merge the two breakfast products in one? We know that other PMS make this happen.

Products for channel manager charged per stay
It would be very usefull for us to have a porduct categorie which is chagred per stay (for example on the first or last night) for channel managers.

Serial task
Our receptions teams does certain task daily/weekly/monthly. It would be greate to have the option to create serial task.

Send link for credit card (no payment)
Have the option to send a link to the payment portal without amount, so the guest can enter their credit card securely. This is especially important for reservations via phone or email.

In the statistics view in the reservation overview, a total sum would be wonderful. So you have to calculate it manually

Availability report at a glance
Dear Mews,
Would it be possible creating an availability report, similar that you can download in excel on the dashboard, where we can see a room type with remaining number of rooms in a row under each other, top row the dates and button row the overall number of availability and occupancy? Like below example?

Room2 7 1
Availability: 12 2
Occupancy: 70% 95%It would help making price decisions and knowing when to apply minimum stays or close sales.

"Share With" - Share Reservations
There is a recurring need for hotels to track multiple reservations assigned to a unit. Oftentimes 2+ individuals, arriving at separate times, will each need a reservation for the same unit/dates. Sometime that nightly rate will also need to be split between these reservations.

More flexibility with mail
Would be good to have possibility to send more personalised mails. For example, we organise a lot of pop up events (BBQ in summer, concerts, ...). People need to subscribe in advance.
Would be great to be able to send these kind of mails from MEWS.
What's differente compared to actual MEWS mail templates?
- content is different every month
- we should be able to choose ourselves when we do want to send this mail and when not (for example if we organise a BBQ next sunday, it should not be send to any other guests than those staying…5 votes -
rooming list integration
can we avoid manual work i.e. putting names / creating profiles when we receive rooming list for groups ?
Anyway for Mews to read and process rooming list in Excel or Word form ?

Auto log-out employee accounts
Implementation of a feature to automatically log-out signed-in employees after a certain amount of time, and additionally, a quick key to log out.
In some cases, multiple employees work on one computer and forget to log out. A quick key to log out would make it easier.16 votes -

Move in-house Guests
At the moment in most cases we have to split reservations to perform a room change.

duplicated reservations
Duplicated reservations currently needs manual removal, to create automation to allow for bulk deletion of duplicated reservations.

Group reservations booker/owner
A better and quicker way to name the group different from the booker. Now it is a mess to get it changed properly. It is always switching and the group name cannot be different as the booker of the group on an easy way.
