Check out Report with the balance of the reservation
The Check-out Report is currently showing the open balance for all the Guest Stays. But the Check-out Report just need to display the current Stay. So if we are linking payment to reservations this can easy fixed.

Timeline layout
In the timeline, there is no neat separation between different room types leading to mistakes when moving around reservations. It would be helpful to have a gap in between or a thicker line to make the separation more clear.

It would be helpful if the search bar could also detect words or numbers that are written in the notes of a product.

timeline overbooking
It would be helpful if you could click on the red line of an overbooking when viewing the timeline to jump directly to the overbooked reservation. This feature would save time and effort, especially when the overbooked dates are far ahead in the year, reducing the need to scroll manually through the timeline.

Make product option 'offer to employee' visible in overview
In the overview of all the products we have in the additional and bookable services, I really miss a column that shows which products are visible for employees. Or a possibility to filter those products only.
Now I have to either enter each product to see if the option is selected or open a second screen as an employee to see what is visible.1 vote -

Product setup - Trigger a task when a product is added.
Products have the ability to send a message to an individual or department when created. It would be great to have the ability to automatically create a task as well. This would need to have their own notification fields of who to create the task for.

Timeline
We greatly appreciate Mews Timeline. However, we are repeatedly making mistakes in recognizing what the arrival dates of reservations are. The confusion is that Monday Bookings are aligned under the word “Tuesday”, Tuesday’s under "Wednesday", and Wednesday’s bookings under "Thursday", etc. (it's left aligned)
A simple fix for this would be to provide an option for us to select “Right Align” for the whole of the “DAY” row. This option would be very much appreciated.

Change the amount of Guest on Kiosk
The property may need to ensure that all guests' information is filled during check-in due to regional requirements. Due to that, should any plans change from reservation creation to check-in regarding guest count, guests can't successfully check in if they initially booked for 2 people but only 1 person was able to show up.
Make it possible to change occupation (guest count) on the kiosk last minute.

Split reservations - optional and confirmed
at the moment, only in house reservations can be splitted. When a guest already books a room change, we have either to make two different reservations or block the spaces until the guest is checked in.

copy reservation
Copy a reservation to a future date
Often returning clients make sometimes the same booking for different dates. It would be great to have an option to copy a reservation to another date to make the reservation process quicker.

Reinstate payment link
When a payment link has expired, we would like to have the availability to resend the payment link or extend the deadline without having to remake the entire link. This would make it easier when a guest forgets to pay by the expiry date.
If we could extend the deadline, it would be ideal if the guest would receive an update of this as well.

Possibility to create automatic exports of reports in PDF format
We are using the automatic export feature to export financial reports. The only choice is CSV, XLS, JSON. We are missing PDF. Our export target is the accountant. For legal reasons, he does not accept anything else than PDF.

Kiosk check-in- Guest details
Due to New Zealands legal environment we cannot turn off the requirement for the details of every guest staying in a room when checking in via the kiosk.
As you can imagine if a guest books a three bedroom ********* for her and the children she doesn't want to spend all the time required to fill in details for each of her children just to proceed with the check in. We as a property also do not require this.
We no longer use kiosk for this reason as guests become too frustrated.

Multiple Out of Order assignments at once
I am suggesting an enhancement to our current system functionality that would significantly improve efficiency in managing room availability.
Currently, our system allows users to mark rooms as out of order individually, necessitating a manual process for each room. However, I propose the implementation of a bulk room blocking feature, enabling users to designate multiple rooms as out of order simultaneously.
This enhancement would greatly benefit our operations, particularly during situations where it's necessary to temporarily remove several rooms from sales availability concurrently. By streamlining the process, we can optimize time and resources, enhancing overall efficiency in our hotel management…

Create a Reservation with Product Bug
If you add a new reservation with a product . Firstly i add it with the Drop Down Product. Then mews adds the product price to the room rate in the editable field and below in the grey total amount. when i now edit the room rate it shows a second field with adtional product but my added product isnt shown the new rate is added with the local tay the right total amount. and now the bug comes when i now confirm the booking the additional product in may case a dog fee gets added. Room Blocks showing in the Timeline
The Timeline is such a great tool. We use it to have a first glance of what rooms are available in certain dates while we are helping guests booking reservations. I wish there was a way to see Room Blocks in the Timeline.
Precious time is waisted trying to figure out why we cant book a reservation on certain days just by looking at the Time Line.
