Hello Mewsers,
We are very happy to inform you that we provide the following reservation states:
Pending (Inquiry) – this state shows reservations as “inquired” in the system but it does remove any rooms from your inventory.
Optional – when reservations are created in the optional state they are set and tentative in the system and can be automatically released. Optional reservations will remove rooms from your inventory.
If you would like to know more about the states mentioned above, please contact our customer care team.
We would like to know more about how you envision working with “probability %” and waiting lists. If you have anymore use cases or scenarios for the waiting list, please feel free to share them with us.

AldairAn error occurred while saving the comment Kim Barradell commentedWe added a waitlist feature in Hotel Perfect and our customer loved it! So having something similar in Mews is a must. Add reservation requests to the a waitlist, desired dates/room type etc, when a booking is cancelled the user gets an indicator/task come up that it may be possible to accommodate someone on the waitlist - this should only happen if the required dates can be accommodated following the recent cancellation.
With OTA/BE integration obviously availability is automatically updated, so the prompt for the user needs to happy quickly and efficiently so they time to place the room on option whilst they contact the guest

Based on this request, we would like up-voters to consider the option to view space features in both the housekeeping app and the Mews mobile app in order to solve for the request.

An error occurred while saving the comment Kim Barradell commentedThis feature is also important to have on the timeline - indicator to show how a room is made up. This would help the reservations team to place bookings back to back so HK do not have to keep changing bed configuration.

An error occurred while saving the comment Kim Barradell commentedGreat functionality that nearly all Hotel Perfect users are familiar with, it would be a real shame if Mews were not willing to add this feature. Booking from the timeline would be a great addition to the functionality - being able to click on an empty cell/room and complete the reservation for both one and multiple nights

Good news, we have released a new classification (profile > internals > classification) "waiting for room" so you can flag guest who are waiting for their room.

Ability to control availability of products. Hotels are often limited with how many cots/extra beds/stairgates etc they can offer. It needs to be configurable by the hotel, add a new product and have the option to specify how many of each available. If booked via BE then the availability reduces to in-house reservations team and vice versa
