Accounting (Order) Items should also have the "name" just like extended items have in the reservations query
If you receive accounting items via reservations/getall with extent of items, you will receive a "name" field. This "name" field is what the customer sees:
Things like: Tourism Fee (Adults), Night 22-12-2022.
But if you query accountingitems/getAll for a specific reservation, you do not get this "name" field. You only receive a revenue type with a possible discriminator.Please add the "name" field too...

Changeable language parameter for guests
A customer currently has the parameter which is not editable via api request, since it's supposed to be the website language of the guest within the Mews UI.

Split INE report for different room types
When automating reports for INSTITUTO NACIONAL ESTADISTICA (INE) in Spain, would be very convenient to split or segregate the report into different business lines. For instance between two or more different hotels (or according to each business configuration, between different room types)
Other wise the hotel must rebuild the report manually, wasting time and efforts.

In the information that Mews sends, the booking reference of the BtoB client should be added.
Indeed, when transmitting an invoice to the BtoB client in order to post the invoice, the BtoB client needs its booking reference. Without this information there is no way for them to post the invoice. This is an obligation for most of the BtoB clients such as HotelBeds, Bookings, Webbeds...
Nowadays the booking reference information is only included into the API when the invoice is linked to a reservation.
Nevertheless, Mews allows to create bills to correct invoices. In those cases, no booking reference…

Travel Agency Commission
Add Onyx or a similar platform to the market place to pay IATA commissions. Updating the TA profiles to be able to make what products that are commissionable so that it will be easier to export the reservation report to see actual commission rates to be used for reconciliations.

As POS Operator I want to use a guest room key UID (16 digit Hex code e.g., 803687a2415404) to search for the guest on the POS so that do not have to ask for the guests room number and can use the same method to pay and justify a room posting.

TESA Smart Air by Assa Abloy integation with Mews
We manage local accommodation flats. The guest access to the rooms is done through a pin code that we send to the guest before the check in date. Our system is TESA Smart Air by Assa Abloy.
Currently to send pins to the guests we have to manually input into the TESA system the room information, check in and check out date and guest name, generate the code and send to the guest This procedure is time consuming and error prone.

A direct hyperlink to guest’s reservations between MEWS and OTA’s
Creating hyperlink so that by simply clicking on travel agency confirmation number in MEWS we are guided directly to the reservation on the OTA’s website. Instead of copying the number and pasting it on Booking.com, Expedia, Hotelbeds… etc.

Allow for Preauthorizing a tokenized credit card within Mews via the Connector API
While an actual charge can be done, there is not a way to preauthorize a credit card tokenized within Mews via the Connector API. This would allow for integrations in the US to automatically topup the preauthorization's within Mews.

Make "Guarantee information" available at reservations from channel manager
We need to see "Guarantee information" sent by the OTAs (especially booking.com) via the channel manager. This data is included in the xml file sent by the channel manager to Mews.
Without seeing this information receptionist must open the reservation not only in Mews but also in booking.com to make sure whether the guest must pay at the reception or he/she already paid at the OTA and there is a virtual credit card available for the reservation.
