Sort name search results by recent
When looking for a name in the search bar, the results are shown in alphabetical order. It would be way more convenient if the client profiles where sorted by closest reservation in time.
That way, when typing "Smith", you'll first get Mr Smith that has a reservation tomorrow or Mr Smith that just left last week-end and not Adam Smith from 4 years ago.21 votesI am happy to share that we are currently beta-testing an improved global search that includes this feature request and we are open to accepting more properties!

Pop up trace/Task
Maybe add a feature of whenever you click on a guest profile a pop up trace of any important information can be seen first hand ie (Special occasion, take payment of VC, route payment) a

Company profile notes visible in guest profile (as notes)
If certain notes are attached to a company profile (e.g. No alcohol on account), these are (now) not visible on the guest profile of the guests who are linked to the company.
This would be convenient :)

Credit card field in new customer screen
While completing customer profiles, one of the most important pieces of data includes payment card details. For this reason, an additional field for these card details could be very beneficial to streamline that data collection process. Manage your profiles with the most important information first.

Display last reservation in search bar from checked-out room today
When room has checked out, you cannot find the reservation back in search bar by searching for room number. You should go into the timeline now. It would be great if you can access this last reservation that has checked out today from that specific room in the search bar directly.

improve managing companies
now it takes a long time to link companies to a master. as you always have to scroll (remembering where you were), click in, add master. and wait for 4, 5 sec and then go back to companies, scroll again, click in ...
instead of - better - be in the master and just add the companies

Company name automatically filled in registration card
When a reservation is made via Company, it would save time to have the Company name pre-filled in the registration card.

Be able to click on guest name or other parts in task description to direct to the reservation or bill the task applies to
Currently when there is a task i.e. saying a payment request was missed, one has to copy paste the name of the guest to search for the actual payment request. A direct link would be better

To be able to see the amount of stays when it is a returning guest, on the dashboard or short detail in the timeline or even in a report.
It also seems that if a guest had booked and cancelled a reservation and rebook they are marked as a returning guest, which they are not.

Be able to add more options on the regstration card (specially during the corona crises)
example: how did you travel to the Netherlands? Do you have any coronavirus symptoms? What if the motive of your visit (with options): 1. Business 2. Staycation 3. Leisure etc

Faster passport scanning FASTER check-in!
Recently Mews released the "MewsPassportScan" the feature is great! but we feel like its incomplete, if you have used it before, you will agree.
The feature allows you to scan the guests passport with the webcam of the computer, this then populates the passport fields with one click making the process way smoother, HOWEVER!!!!
If you have more than one attendant on a booking this feature flaws massively, as you have to create individual user profiles for the additional guests ONE BY ONE!
This means that from 1 click one guest, it turns in to 8 clicks per guest profile.…18 votesHello from the Mews product team. Automatically assign the company to their rate
When a specific rate is booked, automatically populate the company to the reservation. E.G. If you book the rate "MEWS" the system will add "MEWS" as a company to the reservation

Show company name on timeline (option)
It would be good to get the option to change the timeline view and display the company name instead of guest name / sometimes we need to be able to see which companies have guests staying, now you would have to click into each booking to find this out

It would be great if you could add custom fields to a customer profile to save specific information.
We would need that for example to save information regarding our data privacy policy.

allow same e-mail address for several contacts within same company
When there are several contacts in a company that use the same e-mail address, this should be possible. Now you can only use contact per e-mail.

customizable rows in "add new customer" in group section.
It would be practical to fill all the necessary information straight from the "add new customer section" so we do not have to enter each profile just to fill few more rows.

Show number of past stays in guest dashboard
To get a quick idea of an arriving guest, it would be very useful to see how often the guest has returned to the property.
The current symbol of a returning guest is not enough. There is difference between guests that have returned once or guests that have returned 30 times!It would be very helpful to see the number of stays counting from 1 to ....
