  1. Quite often, we have guests staying who have an title as a prefix to their name (Sir, Dame, Dr,, Prof., Lady, Lord, etc) and we would like the possibility to add this as an official title to the guest profile in addition to the basic Mr. Mrs. and Ms.

    Additionally, as mentioned in another idea as well, adding Mx. or Fam. could be helpful as well.

  2. When accidentally entered an space in front of a first- or lastname in the guest profile we would like MEWS to automatically delete this empty space.

  3. It would be great to connect guest accounts. For example to specify partner, spouse, children and so on. Right now this is completely invisible inside Mews and you could only detect an relation between two persons through past reservations.

    I think it would be very useful to have two way connections like mother-son so when you go to the mothers profile and add the sons profile via mother-son-connection on the sons profile automatically a connection son-mother appears. Same procedure with deleting a connection.

    If you want to go all in with this feature it would be an idea to let…

  4. We should be able to set what fields are mandatory to complete for reception before checking in a guest - email, nationality, gender eetc. This functionality is available on the kiosk so it doesn't make any sense it isn't the same across the board.

  5. Ich würde mir wünschen, dass alle Gästeprofile im System aufzufinden sind in einer Gästekartei. Somit kann man den vielen doppelten Profilen entgegenwirken und leichter die Profile zusammenführen ( da man direkte Daten abgleichen kann, ob es sich um die selbe Person handelt)

  6. To enhance guest experience and returning guest recognition it is required to share guest data between properties. This includes guest historical stays, preferences and complaints for all properties and not just the local one. Staff should then be easily recognize that this guest already stayed in another property to maintain best guest service.

  7. Please stop creating several profiles for already existing guests. I know that this is based on the e-mail address and that Booking.com creates a new e-mail address every time a guest makes a new reservation, but this makes it impossible to track who's a regular guest and who's coming back when.

  8. If a company has more than one employee working from the same emaill address Mews will not allow us to create them as a guest/booker as the email address already exists. Can you create an option to override this?

  9. To be able to see the amount of stays when it is a returning guest, on the dashboard or short detail in the timeline or even in a report.

    It also seems that if a guest had booked and cancelled a reservation and rebook they are marked as a returning guest, which they are not.

  12. Set up an alert in Mews to notify when a guest's gender does not match the room's designated gender. For example, if a guest's profile is marked as Male but the room is designated for a Female, Mew will display an alert: "The guest's gender does not match the room type. Would you like to proceed with the check-in?"

  13. When merging guest profiles, only one phone number and one email is saved. Some guests use different phone numbers and emails for different purposes. We need the ability to consolidate all the guest's information on one profile. Also, a whatsapp option would be great to have. Thanks!

  14. The current UX/UI design and flow is not logical, at least to me. When entering a guest name into the search bar or clicking a guest name - you are taken to the profile tab instead of directly to the guest dashboard (where you can access every tab, closed bills, rebates, refunds, past stays, and future stays).

    Currently, you are creating more steps than it should be - by having the page that you're being directed to - be the users profile instead of the dashboard.

    If you program the backend to direct the user to the guest dashboard instead…

  15. In Austria the registration law wants the adress, id ccard and signature from the main Traveller and the name and date of birth of the fellow passengers. Mews prints and want all the data of each guest. Better would be also for the digital path that the main traveller has the oppurtunity to fill in the data from his self and also int the same form off his fellow travellers

  16. For example if a guest, which stayed with us in the past, is booking through another website we have him as a new customer in our system.

    It would help us, if the system could create a notice f.e.: “Customer name already exists!” Then we can have a look if it’s the same customer, and we merge the profiles, or not.

  17. When keeping track of a guest's journey, the notes quite often get lost in the reservation.
    Therefore we would like an add-on to have a seperate guest journey, to log every step of their reservation and safe all important details.

    This way, we know what happened and what might be important for a next shift or for their next stay.

  18. We're currently experiencing an issue with our online check-in flow where the guest is uncertain about what confirmation code to enter when completing their check-in. This only applies to our OTA guests as that is a different booking confirmation number than the Mews one.

    I was wondering if there is a way to make the Mews confirmation numbers match the OTA ones so that we can correct this at the source.

  19. ExpediaIntegration: Transfer guests nationality to Guest profile in Mews

    A guest booking with Expedia The guest nationality is not transferred to the guests profile in Mews when using Mews's own Expedia integration. Expedia clearly states the nationality of the guest with a flag and the country of origin's name. The problem is solved with the Booking.com integration already so please do it here too.

  20. Hello, most of the time, my team forgets to check the "send marketing emails" option in the profile internals when checking in through the browser. However, when using Mews Kiosk, this doesn't happen since the button is on the profile filling screen. Is there any way to have this button available in the profile section through MEWS for the Browser as well?
