  1. In Austria the registration law wants the adress, id ccard and signature from the main Traveller and the name and date of birth of the fellow passengers. Mews prints and want all the data of each guest. Better would be also for the digital path that the main traveller has the oppurtunity to fill in the data from his self and also int the same form off his fellow travellers

  2. We have been experiencing a lot of difficulties due to the so called auto-replenishment tool at Booking.com which cannot be deacticated. They basically sends the cancelled rooms/beds back to sales without waiting for an update from PMS first. It can lead to mismatch in the actually available inventory. This can happen especially in the situations when we e.g. upgrade reservations to other room categories. This change is not being sent to the channel manager/Booking.com at the moment.

  4. When a guest recerve online the system automatically delte the internal classification "Loyalty Program". It will be great is the system keep all the internals classifications.

  7. It would be great to be able to link the guest's social media to their profile, this way once a reservations comes through we can identify a repeat guest with a large following.

  8. Could be great if you did automated IATA nr. pulls from IATA database - this would then provide hotels with an updated "IATA Agency" list.... similar to the way you do address look-ups

  9. While the internal messaging is a great tool for Ops teams, to ensure completion of a task (or just share an information) it would be great to be be able to message a department (i.e front office/housekeeping) rather than just a specific employee.

  11. Make coloured tags on timeline for each reservation so we see straight away the type of guest: for example returning guest, journalist, vip guest or guest with a dog or guest with a special order etc.

    It avoids clicking around to find the information. You can make the tags for reservations or guests.

    Unfortunately it is not currently possible for us to read data from a PDF in order to update the details for customer profiles yet. For this reason, it is not likely that this feature will be developed in the near future.

  13. My client is booking multiple rooms using the same email and the guest names keep reverting back to old guest names from previous reservations they booked with that email.

    For MEWS users that has an ID Scanner (like the 365id Scanner, www.365id.com) it should be a much more smooth and faster onboarding of customers if:

    • The ID scanner can be used to fill out the scanned data in the Profiles | Customer form (instead of typing all the data by hand). See figure 1.

    • The ID scanner can be used to fill out the scanned data when a New Reservation is made without having a customer already registered. E.g., make it possible to bring up the Profile page without…

    So if you press Ctrl + F and at the top of the note appearse your name.

  16. Why is it that if a name is entered incorrectly at reservation, that if it is updated in the system, it doesn't show up as changed on the timeline or the guest's dashboard?
    It's not until you go completely into the guest's profile that you can see the changes.
    EG: A guest uses the name Bob at reservation then later asks for it to be under Robert Dawson. The name Bob is the only thing that shows on the timeline and dashboard

  17. it would be great to differentiate between the origings of the customers/connector type conncerning the automatic system email. Because for some integrations, we do not want this email to be sent: ivvy, vouchercard, fidelo etc.

  18. Why do we have to fill in a the language of the guest when we later don't see it in the profile? Please also make the mailing automatically choose the guest's language when we manually send an e-mail (inquiry, confirmation...) through Mews.

  19. With the new group option you have the possibility to add multiple reservations to one profile. However when you add a big group of rooms in multiple reservations (think about tour bookings, same date 20+ rooms) in one profile, you see many reservations in your right screen (manage). It would be more clear if you create a drop-through per reservation date, so you do not see all the seperate reservations and rooms. Meaning that you will see all the reservations below eachother instead of also seeing all the rooms under the date. In this way you have a better overview…
