  1. I would like to propose an enhancement to our reservation reinstatement feature that would greatly benefit our reception team and our guests. Currently, our system requires manually doing new reservations after a 12-hour period has elapsed. However, I suggest implementing an automatic process whereby upon reinstatement, the system adjusts the arrival date to the current day.

    Consider a scenario where a guest's check-in date is scheduled for March 19th, with a check-out date of March 23rd. If the guest is a no-show on March 19th but arrives on March 20th, we aim to reinstate the reservation with the new check-in…

  3. We need to display our timeline with the double-full rooms at the bottom, in order to make the timeline clearer for our staff. However, this causes the double-full to be considered an "Upgrade" from a double-queen, which means I cannot move guests from a double-full room to a double-queen. I would like to request a separate "display order" and "upgrade order" variable in the system. Or, at the very least, allow me to move people to any category, and display whether the system considers it an "upgrade" or a "downgrade"

  4. Currently, Mews does not allow sending an automated email before the guest's arrival to request a bank pre-authorization as a guarantee. It is currently possible to realize a pre-authorization but only on the amount of the reservation. So I want to realize a pre-authorization for the booking amount and add the deposit amount, for example 500 euros. Can you add this feature please?

  5. Currently when a locked booking has it's properties changed the booking will automatically unlock. There is no notification of this and it can be missed by the user making the change. If left unlocked there is a high chance it is accidentally moved on the timeline causing issues dependant on the reason it was initially locked (Guest has requested a specific room etc)

  6. In order to avoid seeing "None" under nationality in the customer statistics due to missing companion's profile, I would suggest that the system take the owner guest's nationality as default.

    I would like to know if it's possible to add the field of passport information (number, date of validity, etc...) to the registration cards. Some of our clients are from other countries and might need VISA so we can give them the information to prepare the VISA.

  9. In the check out report we can see a lot of details for the reservation but not the set departure time. It would be good to see the set departure time or have the check-out report sorted by departure time.

  11. I would like to know if there is a possibility to add the sign of male (the sign of female is already there) for all the male clients? Sometimes with the name itself is not easy to be sure of the gender of the client and that will allow us to find it faster on the calendar view.

  13. When the reception team takes a direct booking and pick up a rate, it should note which products are included. Firstly, when looking at the individual rates – where it notes the R/O cost and products e.g. +£16 – it should note what these products are. Secondly, once it is picked up, in the reservation summary, it displays the rate code e.g. ‘BB’ – but it should also note the summary of the products within it.

  15. When printing out regcards via reservation overview report, the report sorting parameters do not influence the actual order the regcards are printed in !

    This makes us lose a lot of time, having to sort all the reservation cards by hand !

  16. Dans la partie de droite de la réservation, il sera plus facile de lire les produits s'ils étaient regroupés en une ligne. Pour des longs séjours la liste des produits est vite beaucoup trop longue.
    Par exemple au lieu d'avoir 9 lignes avec 1 produit, avoir 1 ligne avec les 9 produits

  17. While using a space in space set up, but NOT using different reservations in that space, it is now not possible to process a late check out for only one space. This is inconvenient, since in practice it happens that only one space needs a late check out and not the whole room/all spaces.

  19. I really liked the old timeline where you could zoom in and out using the mouse wheel.

    It's nice that you can scroll the timeline using the mouse wheel now.

    My suggestion would be:
    Holding the macOS Command or Option or Control key + mouse wheel --> you can zoom in and out on the timeline.

    Same with Windows, probably simply the Control key + mouse wheel.

    With this, zooming in and out would be much simpler than it is right now.

  20. Section to enter arrival date and then number of nights for long stays. Instead of working out what 31 nights would be for example and using the calendar. This would then display a list of rooms availble for the number of nights entered.
