Restrict "Optimise Space Button" by user rights.
We would only like some users to have the ability to optimise spaces using the button on the timeline. Please add a user right for this.

Option to add bedrooms to a meeting event
When we have a meeting room booked and the company would like add bedrooms to their booking. So everything is connected and is clear that the reservations are for the same event.
1 voteHi, to create new reservation of another bookable service linked to a reservation of the Meeting room, please, use Reservation group functionality.
You can use the same dates, details etc - just use the "Add another reservation" button in the Reservation flow.
Alternatively, you can create a new reservation for the accommodation and merge it with the meeting room booking - again, everything will be in the same reservation group.

Connecting rooms
Is it possible to add a Space Type Connecting Rooms which does not impact our hotel capacity?
Example : we have connecting rooms based on 2 standard rooms, currently the connecting room add a space to our inventory which false our reports and global data.It would be great that the connecting rooms have a specific space type (composed of other spaces).

Hi, there is limited "space type" to choose from, and not always describing the product.

Permanently delete a cancelled reservation
A canceled reservation still appears in the guest's navigator, would it be possible to choose which of them to permanently delete?
I offer my guests different spaces or tariffs, they choose one, and then the others end up being canceled but they are still present in their navigator, cutting it up. I wish I was able to delete the irrelevant ones.8 votesHello from the Mews product team,

Ability to delete bookable services
Currently, once created, bookable services can never be deleted. If you create some by accident you then have to live with them as they take up valuable up display real-estate (and increase the time it takes to figure out what to click on).
Please introduce the option to delete those (either from the property or from the support level).

Rateplan per spacetype
MEWS should allow for the users to create rates per spacetype. Currently any rate we create is available for all spacetypes. This results in very slow availability request responses.

Multiple Accounting Categories - no show charging
Allow in the new spacetime for multiple automated no show charging. Currently customers can only select one accounting category for no show charging. When applying multiple business types in one system (which we do already), the system should also cater for multiple no show charges.

Move a reservation group to a different space category in bulk
In case of group bookings, would it be possible to select several rooms which have the space category to move them to another space category instead of doing one by one?

Optimize Space Allocation only for certain space categories
A way to only use the Optimize Space Allocation on a selection or Rooms. Specific room types or a selection of any. Locking and unlocking half of the rooms which can't be moved multiple times a week is quite a hassle.

Non residential packages
Would be good to have feature where you can build a non residential package, that is not linked to accommodation. Foe example we have a spa and we do spa days. a meeting room where we have day delegate package.
You can create the package but you cant book the package as there is no "management accounts" or ability to add function space in Mews

being able to filter the availability screen by space category
it would be great if you would be able to filter the availability report per space category - when you have several space categories, you are not able to see everything on the one screen and are not able to see the space category or date when scrolling further to the right on the time line

Visible notes/tasks inside billing.
Visible internal notes/tasks inside guests folio billing. So much wasted space. All that space can be used for notes or tasks. Me, personally, i live in billing and i am always there, if you ask me, its the most used window. So i would really love this idea come true. So that all internal notes or tasks about this reservation can be viewed inside billing. Just an idea which i would personally find very useful. Or at least something where we can leave the notes for our colleagues.

Painful photos uploading
The way we upload photos today in space categories is... archaic. One photo at a time, no tags, no way to describe the photo. The way you move photos order is also not efficient.
For a company like ours who has sometimes 50 photos per chalet, it's a nightmare :)
Please build a real "media section", where you can upload as many photos / videos as you want in one time. You could add tags and description for each photo / video.

THE SPACE CAN NOT BE MOVED AS THEY WERE BLOCKED
IF I HAVE A GUEST IN A ROOM FOR 10 NIGHTS AND IN THE MIDDLE OF THE STAY I NEED TO CHANGE THE ROOM NUMBER I CAN NOT DO THAT AS THE OTHER ROOM NUMBER OF SAME ROOM TYPE WERE OCCUPIED BEFORE SO IT BLOCKS TO CHANGE THE ROOM NUMBER IN THE MIDDLE OF THE STAY

Resources (parking lots, meeting rooms, co-working spaces and others) can be offered through multiple services
A hotel is not just rooms and beds. There are many resources in each hotel. There can be co-working spaces, parking lots, conference rooms, kitchens, sport courts, bikes or boats, sports equipment etc. (the list could be literally endless) and we want to manage them in the system and offer them to the guests just like we offer rooms and beds today. It would allow us to boost the non-accommodation revenue and diversify the hotel's business.

Option to create “Dummy” Space Categories
Idea:
Having Dummy spaces is immensely helpful for hotels, so we can place those guests over there. These are those guests who are not going to arrive or who have booked with an invalid cc. By placing the reservation in dummy, we keep them on a waiting list, while at the same time keeping the reservation active on the OTA channel!
It allows us to give preference to guests who pay and weed out fake/ fraud bookers
Dummy allows us to directly release the room online and keep the timeline sorted, without having to change the occupancy/ availability manually every…
