Extra time line for meeting rooms
There should be an extra line for the meeting room. So we can place Reservations in MEWS

I’m happy to announce that it is now possible to create multiple bookable services in Mews and start offering offices, meeting rooms, desks or parking spots to your guests.
There is a dedicated timeline and reporting for each new service. Services can be offered on daily or overnight basis.

Create limited stock for the different product solded.
For example, if we sold parking spot, and we have a limited number of them.
it will be perfect if we can't sell more space than we have, without hve checking every day.33 votes -
Ability to assign Space/Room to Optional Reservations.
Currently in the Status Tab of an Optional Booking, we don't have the ability to assign a Space. However Mews automatically assigns a Space. i.e when Mews assigns a Space, we cannot assign to a different Space, other than by using the timeline to move the reservation. We require the ability to assign space from the Status tab, so that we can assign to None(un-assigned). Similar to Confirmed reservations.

Hello, monthly bookable services in Mews allow you to price and charge for your services on monthly basis.
In the coming months, the team will focus on improving the functionality for long stays (monthly reservations) and introduce pro-rating, flexible housekeeping and product posting. We are also looking into payments automation via direct debit.

Restriction per room = allotment administration solution
Add possibility to restrict particular room numbers (best multiple), this tool would solve lack of allotment administration in Mews. Creating restriction per specifc rooms with maximum advance following release period and per specific rate plan following partners with allotment could work enough.

space clean
Add common areas (like pool, kitchen, garden 1, garden 2) to assign them to housekeeping and maintenance, to be able to assign task a cleaning of common area.

I’m happy to inform you that it is now possible to create spaces/resources without a category and see them on the timeline + assign them house uses. The resources are currently not bookable through the standard channels and can be really “reserved” only for an internal usage.

Ability to switch off the legionella function
Some hostels often have rooms that do not have bathrooms connected and therefore do not have water pipes. In this a few other cases, turning those rooms to "dirty" with reason "legionella" after 7 days unoccupied does not apply.
Can we add a setting that will allow us to turn off "legionella"?

Dynamic slots for check-in and check-out times and their monetization

Currently hotels have fixed slots for check-in and check-out times. Obviously guests can sometimes make use of early check-in or late check-out services at an extra cost. So far this has been the smartest and most flexible way of managing the demand for different arrival and departure times. This requires a lot of manual interference from front desk teams, who need to manage the inventory, add additional items on the bill and have to manually approve or reject the early check-in or late departure.

Different confirmations per space type
As we sell different space types we would like to make different confirmation templates per space type, better suiting the product.

Thank you for your feedback. We are very happy to inform you that as per your request we have added the option to customise your confirmation email per space type.
In order to make use of this functionality:
1. Select a space category (settings > property > space categories)
2. Scroll down to “Order email template”
3. Enter the text you would like to be sent to your guests and hit save.
4. The text will now appear under the “Additional info” section of your confirmation email for the desired space.NOTE: The text does not need to be in custom HTML to appear correctly in the email.

Expand room status options
At present the available Space Status are Dirty, Clean & Inspected (OOS & OOO).
From a front office and housekeeping perspective this is limiting.
Could you please consider the following please?
VACANT READY - Inspected
OCCUPIED DIRTY - Guest checked in
OCCUPIED READY - Inspected stay over
VACANT DIRTY - Guest checked out
PICKUP - Room move and for housekeeping to inspectThis would offer more clarity as to not only the status of the room but also the ‘condition’, meaning the physical status of the room (guest). This is important for the operation of a hotel.

Restrict Spaces so children can't be booked in
Currently you can book adults or children into a space. However, particularly in hostels, some rooms aren't suitable for children. eg. you shouldn't be allowed to book a 10 year old into our 28 bed dorm on their own.

Only display actual room type of reservation in assignment bar
Now all roomtypes with all room numbers are displayed when assigning a reservation.
You should only see the rooms available for the roomtype that is active for that reservation. When giving an upgrade you should change the roomtype in the tab 'Properties' > space category. When you changed the roomtype, the rooms for that roomtype available will now be shown in the assignment bar.9 votesHello from the Mews product team,

Easy actual overview of extra beds/baby beds in use
There is no option to view how many extra beds or baby beds are in use at the moment or in which room they are currently.

update Dashboard diagrams SPACES status
The diagram of status on SPACES shows only counting of 4 separate categories, in our case on a certain date:
72 Dirty
23 Clean
99 Inspected
2 Out of Service
However on this particular date the number of OUT OF ORDER is 5, which is more than the 2 Out of service.
This information is not now not on the dashboard because? (font size to large to fit in the diagram, or is the Diagram too small to show everything? I think it is important that we see also the 5 (!) in the diagram

Under Space Categories, add a feature so that extra capacity is for children only.
My suggestion is to allow for extra capacity in space categories to be for children only. All my spaces are standard occupancy of two people with some spaces having extra capacity set at two. As a property want to be able to specify 2 adults + 2 children and not potentially attract booking for 4 adults.

reservations longer then a year
We have received an error message 'reservation too long'. Currently reservations can only be accepted < 365 days. We need to be able and show there is business for long stays for our stakeholders and therefore splitting the reservations provide wrong information regarding the LOS. I would advise extending this time frame to 2 years

Ability to create day-use reservations from reservations screen. Currently, we have to create a 1-day reservation and then edit arrival times for day use.
