Open up MEWS Payments to other Booking Engines and Voucher Booking tools
We are really happy with Mews as a PMS and we are also happy about the gradual improvements that come over time. So far we have decided not to use the Mews Booking Engine, since we still see too many short comings in functionality for our purposes. We love using Mews Payments even though it's quite pricey.
Having said that, I would like to suggest to open up Mews Payments with all its features like Apple Pay and Google Pay for use in other IBEs as well. I do not like the policy to keep certain features limited to a pure MEWS environment. As said before there are good reasons why we have not decided the MEWS Booking Engine so far. We still see too many disadvantages which I would hope will disappear soon. But right now it's just not our tool of choice.
At the same time alternative Booking Engines should not be "punished" with fewer or worse functionalities.
My feeling is that this is the case. I am happy to hear other thoughts on this and maybe also what Mews is planing on this end of the product pipeline. Thx
