We are almost 7 years later... It has been millions € in commissions that Belgian hotels could have spared. But it is Mews who kept a %age of it. On the other hand we keep receiving messages proposing good conditions to borrow money... yeah, it could have been our money...
Mews is not manage by hoteliers anymore. Banks took it over long ago.

4 years later and still nothing... :-(

For the moment, the transaction fee on maestro, visa debit and other debit cards have Visa or Mastercard fee on which Mews take larger commission than if they develop a bancontact solution.

They will never develop something to loose money. The bancontact payment method on Mews will never see the light. But they will make you believe for years that they are thinking about it... so you do not even search for another cheaper solution.

Yada yada yada...

In Belgium, not all people have credit cards but almost every person older than 16, has Bancontact. And even if they have a credit card, if they have an option to pay online with bancontact, they will. Therefore it is so important to develop this integration with Mews. Thank you.
