  1. Like when our guests check-in online, it should be possible for our guests to change their e-mail doing check in at the Kiosk. We have a lot of guests who make their reservations through booking.com and then they don't get the chance to write their own e-mail address, because we already have the autogenerated one on their profile.

  2. Add the functionality for guests to be able to use the Mews terminal to purchase any products from Mews by themselves without any intervention from our staff, at any time (from a list pre selected by us, as not all products should be purchasable by guests). Currently, the functionality is partially there but the guests can only add products to their reservations when doing the checkout, which is really annoying.

    Currently, each purchases made with the Mews Terminal require manual intervention from our staff. We want guests to be 100% autonomous in their journey. They want something but our staff…

  3. Kiosk Check-In.

    If something happens during the guest's stay and we have to get in touch with our colleague who checked the guest in, it would be much easier if we have the option to choose the name of the employee who is checking in the guest.
    At this current state, when you check someone in via kiosk, the action log will say that "Mews Operator (Mews Kiosk)" has checked the guest in and not the name of the person!

  4. When a guest checks in via MEWS Kiosk we do not receive any information (mail?) about the check in. During the CI process a registration form is filled out and signed with all the necessary data for the registration to the city. All Registration forms of each day are digitally collected. Due to the CI via Kiosk it is hard for our receptionists to keep track of all the registration forms and collect them daily.

  5. While guest are awaiting for their room to be ready, we would like to allow them to start their check in on the Mews Kiosk App, even if the room is not inspected. Once the check in process will be done, guests can enjoy the hotel facilities and receive a notification when they can collect their keys once the room will be inspected.

  6. Add cash option or temporary skip option to check-in with the kiosk.
    We are trying to work Paperless, and the kiosk gives us this option. However, when someone pays cash we have to stop the entire check in process because we cannot proceed without card payment for the check-in.

  7. Language depending on nationality, with the option for a manual override.
    if the nationality is set for a spain, language should change to spanish. The kiosk is guest forward. default language can be set, but a more individual approach would be good

  8. It would be great to be able to customize the requirements for a Kiosk Check. This would allow us to collect information that is not part of any legal environment based on our location.

    Right now we ask guests to utilize the kiosk but when it cannot collect all the information we need for a check in it sits unused.

  9. Today it is not possible to guide your guests to one kiosk if you use multiple bookable services. This makes it unable to do check-ins for for example day-uses from the same kiosk as normal bookings. Resorts with one arrival reception can't use 1 kiosk to handle multiple services on their Resort. There are multiple use cases where this could be used.

  10. Allow all registered guests to sign a registration card. Right now only the main guest has that option but each person staying should have to sign and agree to terms and conditions. Specifically within the Co-Operator

  11. Adapt the Co-Operator Check Out function so that it looks like the Check In Function ? FO teams working with Co-Operator need a dashboard view of Check outs so they can just choose a reservation to C/O without needing the guest name and room number.

  12. I think it would be ideal (and something seen in many other kiosks) that a in-house guest could recut his/her key in the kiosk if they have lost it. This would mean that the kiosk have three function 1. Check in 2. Check out 3. recut keys if lost. Thanks

  13. We are a hotel without a reception in house. Because we don't have any upselling during guest stays, we don't need any manual check out button at our kiosk. People are confused about check out button. Our guest only need to leave the apartment at a certain time and put the room card into a transparent box at the exit.   14. Update Timing Kiosk App: it would be very helpful to have a way of being able to determine the period in which the kiosk app receives its update? Since we have been using the app, it has repeatedly happened that the app receives an update just when guests have arrived and are waiting to be checked in. The update takes time which the guests do not have.   15. In short: we just need to register one person´s data.

    We try to speed up our self-check-in by encouraging online check-in in advance, however most of our guests do not check in online.
    Now, when they come to the hotel and check in through Operator Kiosk, it takes a long time to check-in (for example they struggle to find ö,ä,ü for their names). That time is then multiplied for each person staying, which is not necessary.
    We can cut self-check-in time in half by just not asking the companions´data, like we always do at the reception.

  17. It would make it easier to keep the checked in reservations at the bottom of the operator screen and allow us to select them and add a guest who checks in later than the rest so that they can complete the check in too. Now there is no option to collect their information without undoing the check in, and that is not viable as we then could loose previous guests' info and signatures.

  19. Currently, with a self check-in through Operator, the only time the guest is informed about his/her room number is at the final step of the check in.
    We would like to set up an "After check-in" which the guest can look at if he/she doens´t remember the room number and no reception is there. In order to do so, we would need a placeholder for the room number! Would be great, thanks!
