Ability to automatically send the final bill as a PDF attachment by email after checkout, with configuration per property
Problem:
After checkout, a significant share of guests request a bill as a PDF. Today this is a fully manual process: front office staff must locate the reservation, generate the document, and email it individually. Across our properties this consumes a meaningful amount of host time daily and creates delays for guests who often need the receipt immediately for expense reporting.
Requested solution:
Ability to automatically send the final bill as a PDF attachment by email after checkout, with configuration per property:
Enable/disable automation per booking channel (e.g. send automatically for direct and corporate bookings, but not for OTA bookings where the guest paid the OTA and the receipt could cause confusion)
Sent to the email address on the customer profile once the bill is closed at checkout
Business impact:
Reduces repetitive manual work for hosts, eliminates follow-up emails and calls from guests chasing receipts, and improves the post-stay experience.
