Email for updating CC details - Improvements
Improve the credit card email by giving you the option not to send it to the guest.

This status update is part of our ongoing work to simplify and streamline how our UserVoice feedback forum operates. When you have a contract with a company and that company is billable at the end of the month, it does not make sense to ask the occupant to give his credit card. It causes a lot of business problems for my company. We should have an option not to send the credit card email.

e-mail should be optional or editable so that the guest gets the correct information on what mews is actually asking for.

would be great to have the setting that you can chose which rate codes don't get these emails

When a CC is entered manually by the hotel, Mews automatically send an email to the client saying that there is no CC to his profile, so as to check if it really is his CC. This causes misunderstanding with our clients. This email should be optional.

For some companies or regular guests, the credit card details are not required. Now they get several emails from Mews, asking for the credit card details. Even if this is not needed by the hotel.

Regular customers and companies get several reminders by mail asking to update credit card details. This while the hotel do not need always credit card details. Now it is not possible to switch this of for these clients.
