If the property offers e.g. 10 baby beds the product should only be bookable if one of the 10 beds are available.
Second option would be that e.g. only 2 of the 10 double rooms have the space for an extra bed -> restricting on room count

Customized cleaning schedules
Many properties have different cleaning schedules based on space type or standard interval. Currently there is only a single housekeeping interval available in Mews, so additional customization fields could allow properties to choose more detailed procedures for their housekeeping assignment and scheduling.

Share customer profiles between properties (multi-property)
It is very important for chains to be able to have a common database for all the hotels. Customer profiles should be shared between properties as guests are loyal to the brand and stay in different property in the same group.

Upsell room categories at check-in
As customers come to check in for their reservations, sometimes your property may have vacant rooms of a higher category. Therefore, notifications for your front of house staff regarding available room categories for an additional price could be a great way to upsell and book your location to full occupancy.

Room number in no show report
The no show email the property gets, stating all the reservations that were cancelled with the reason "no show", includes the reservation numbers and the customers' names. It would be perfect, to also have on that the room numbers shown where there were allocated.

House-level overbooking
Some properties like to overbook their occupancy for specific occasions or in case of no shows. This, however, could cause some issues in case there are still any displaced bookings to accommodate on that overbooked date. For this reason, some properties would prefer to disable the option to overbook once availability has reached 0%, including stays that have already been overbooked. This will ensure a positive experience for all guests as it will guarantee that you will have a space for every booking that was made for your property.

action log showing original price
For properties, only the reservation manager has access to the Rate Management in Mews. So when employees are changing the rate of the booking, they will not be able to know what was the original price of the rate. They will only see from the action log the original rate and not the original price. Properties are pushing not just the original rate but also the original price of the rate in the action log without the products attached.

Central chain reservation overview
For chains, it can be difficult to manage multiple properties, often switching back and forth using one reservation screen. However, this could be solved with a central chain reservation overview screen, making it possible to view operation data about all your connected properties simultaneously.

Disable automatic room assignment
Enable receiving reservations without a room assignment. Some properties are looking to assign their guests manually as they are specific about where they want their guests to stay.

Reservation overview list view
LIST VIEW of reservation overview(arrival, departure, inhouse) and possibilty to sort by for example "guest name", "room number", "price", "departure date", "number of persons" etc.
If we have more than 10 arrivals we are not able to all in a glance. This is a BIG challenge for larger properties.

Translatable Bill Header & Footer
Bill headers and footers are customized by many properties to include promotions, terms of stay, or other very important information. However, as these fields are currently not translatable, they may not always be available in the user's desired language. Adding translation an option for these fields could help properties ensure that these important details are visible and legible for all guests, regardless of preferred language.

Smart space assignment
Automatic room assignment is available in properties, assigning either top to bottom or bottom to top, however for same day bookings that may have a limited amount of time before arrival, it is important that the system automatically recognize this so that they can be assigned to an inspected space. Smart space assignment could help identify any time-sensitive situations so that they are intuitively managed without any manual correction needed.

Automatic reply for messages
For properties that do not have 24/7 coverage it would be nice to activate an automatic reply for the messages to mention e.g. that the property will reply within 12hrs or the next day.

Add Total Revenue to Occupancy report Export
Our occupancy and availability reports provide an overview of crucial data, which can help properties plan and strategize for future rate pricing. Adding an extra tab for revenue totals in the occupancy export could contribute even more valuable data that could be used for planning. Comparing totals per day per space type could greatly improve reporting opportunities for all properties and revenue managers.
