Audit log – missing clear identification of table transfer
Hello MEWS POS Team,
while using the audit log, we noticed that table transfers (moving an order from one table to another) are not clearly identifiable or labeled.
For better traceability, it would be very helpful if the audit log clearly documented:
Who performed the table transfer
From which table the order was moved
To which table the order was transferred
Timestamp of the action
A clear label or code for the event

Time delayed retrival of next course
Often, guests want to take a short break until the next course. It would be fantastic if we could still call up the next course in the POS, but then choose that the kitchen printer prints it just X minutes later.

Personnaliser les tickets de commande
Il serait très intéressant de pouvoir personnaliser nos tickets de commande afin de simplifier et de rendre plus rapide le travail en salle et en cuisine.
Mettre d'abord l'intitulé de la commande puis le numéro de la table après.
Pouvoir augmenter la typo de la commande serait très bien.
Pouvoir mettre en gras "en direct" / "suite 1" / "réclame".
Une visibilité du ticket claire permettra à toute l'équipe d'être plus rapide et d'éviter des erreurs.Vous pouvez nous contacter pour avoir un exemple.
En espérant que notre idée puisse se faire.

Optionale Modifikatoren (ohne aktive Abfrage) zu Produkten hinzufügen
Aktuell gibt es ja bereits die Modifikatoren Funktion. Diese muss allerdings immer verpflichtend aus- oder abgewählt werden. Wenn z.B. Ernährungswünsche wie "Glutenfrei" oder "Laktosefrei" gewünscht sind ist ein Modifikator nicht sinnvoll. Hiefür wären eine Art vorgefertigte "Hinweis-Vorschläge" hilfreich, um diese häufig auftretenden Hinweise nicht immer über die Tastatur eintippen zu müssen.

QR-Code keine Zusammenführung mit Tischbon möglich
Trotz QR-Code pro Tisch werden digitale Bestellungen nicht dem offenen Tischbon im POS zugeordnet. Der Gast muss Service- und Digitalbestellungen separat zahlen, was die Abrechnung unnötig verkompliziert und Zeit kostet.
Wunsch: Automatische oder manuelle Zusammenführung beider Vorgänge zu einer Rechnung pro Tisch.
QR-Code Cannot merge with existing table bill
Despite using one QR code per table, digital orders are not linked to the open table bill in the POS. Guests have to pay digital and service orders separately, which complicates the checkout and wastes time.
Request: Automatic or manual merging of all orders into one single bill per table.

Digital orders should not need to be accepted
Digital orders should not need to be accepted in the POS and should instead print directly to the assigned printer. We work in a light staffed operation and constantly monitoring a tablet for orders is not efficient. I print out that is clearly visible is much easier for our operation

Tamaño de letra y simbologia en las comandas
Hemos implementado el programa hace unas semanas en nuestros hoteles y en todos estamos de acuerdo en que el tamaño de letra de las comandas es demasiado pequeño.
Nuestra sugerencia es aumentar el tamaño de letra de los platos que aparecen en la comanda (la letra que sale antes de los platos se lee mejor).
Y por otro lado, el simbolo "+" delante de cada modificador en algunos platos (como por ejemplo: los puntos de la carne) tiene un significado y puede llevar a errores durante un servicio. Proponemos utilizar otro simbolo que no tenga ningun tipo de significado en…1 vote -
Payment for the client via the RED QR-CODE in order to split the bill
For both the customers and the servers, it would be ideal to offer a QR code that allows customers to place their orders directly from the table (without immediate payment). Then, whenever they wish (for example, at the end of the meal), they could also pay using the same QR code.
This way, they wouldn’t need to wait for the bill. Additionally, if they are a group, they could easily split the bill as they see fit, without taking up the server’s time to process separate payments for everyone.

Digital Ordering : Push notification
Today, customers are not notified by a push alert when their order is ready. In addition to the written message on the DO (Delivery Order) interface, it would be great to have the option of sending a push notification to the customer's mobile device.

The Notifications Window Should show at least a name or booking number.
The notifications window and the information "order created"is a bit pointless since it doesn't show any more information. In order to find out what order was created you have to click on order created and you will be send to the reservation. It would make more sense to at least show a booking umber or name in the notifications window next to order created.

Add a cancelation Reason field for a product cancellation
When cancelling a product from Orders, the status changes to cancelled, however, no reason is provided.
It is confusing for a reception as they might not understand why some items were cancelled.10 votes
