Dear Mews forum managers,
I've been on the forum for a while now and have a few suggestions for improvements.
It would be nice if:
*the results could be filtered according to completed, rejected, open. at the moment you have to fight your way through various articles that make no sense to read
*if you could also filter the search, e.g. all words must be included etc.
*if your entries were moderated so that similar ideas were grouped together
*if there was feedback on entries that have really received a lot of votes and yet are obviously not implemented

Get updates on existing support cases via the digital assistant
It would be very useful if you could view the status of an existing support case (e.g. see if it's been looked at, actioned, etc.) via the digital assistant. Currently once a case is submitted via the digital assistant, I'm not aware of a way to contact support without creating another case via the digital assistant. If you email [email protected] the automated reply says emails cannot be responded to directly, and creates another case.
It would be much simpler if you could give your case number to the digital assistant to get a link to a summary page. Also, it…

Sort Task by different parameters
Include "Sort by" function (A-Z, Z-A) on Task Name, Creation Date, etc.

Delete rates with "all rates" restrictions
When we want to delete a rate, it is not possible if there are restrictions affecting to "All rates". It is not operational to delete all restrictions affecting to "All rates" in order to eliminate an specific rate. Instead of not letting you delete that rate, it should be asked with a "warning" something like "would you like to delete this rate eventhough there is a restriction on it?

Let us use the escape key to exit windows in Mews.
Would save us a lot of time if we could use Esc to close windows in Mews instead of clicking the X.

I would love to filter the timeline and spaces when assigning them in a reservation to see unassigned spaces only. It would be super helpful.

Copy a reservation to a future date
Often returning clients make sometimes the same booking for different dates. It would be great to have an option to copy a reservation to another date to make the reservation process quicker.

Additional/customizable origin options.
When a reservation is created we have limited options to choose as the origin of the booking. We would like to have the option to customize these options ourselves to have a better overview of where the bookings come from.

Display base room rates per room per day on the timeline for quick rates reference.
It would be much more efficient to display the base room rates (for BAR) in the timeline, per room per day. This way, our front desk can quickly reference room rates while on the phone with prospective guests. The current way to check room rates is unnecessarily slow. Simply showing base room rates for the BAR per room per day on the timeline would make inquiries phone sales much easier. ThinkReservations is set up this way. Thank you!

Create an automated task based on a product trigger
If a guest books a specific product such a pet, the task will be automatically created for the HSK team to insert a dog bed in the room.
If the guest books a champagne/wine on arrival, an automated task will be created for RS to prep the champaign and bring to the room5 votes -

When a guest e-mail address bounces, it would be helpful if and when a task is created in order to have a notification (and thus an actionable moment) for staff to verify and check the e-mail proactively, and not have the guest wait for an e-mail because of a typo...

When opening the mail queue from a guest profile without an email address all mail queue items are retrieved, instead of giving an err
Small Bug report: when opening the mail queue items from the dashboard of a guest profile that does not have an email address associated all mail queue items are retrieved (accross all profiles). I guess due to the fact that the SQL Query filters for the email address. Hence when empty all mail queue items are retrieved.
The system should check if an email address is on file, if not decline to open the mail queue item list giving an error that an email address must be provided.1 vote -

Product rules should be possible to adapt based on arrival, origin, segment, rate, space etc. This allows us to automize specific charges and better work on upselling and creating new revenue streams!
