We would like to propose a development to the feature of automatic allocation of spaces on the timeline, when the “Reservation assignment strategy” is Preferred space features (and potentially also useful when choosing the random- option.)

In addition to considering preferred space features, it would be useful to have the option to prioritize or deprioritize specific spaces or groups of spaces when assigning reservations automatically.

For example:
• For bookings of 2+ nights, we would like the system to prioritize spaces with uneven room numbers.
• We would like spaces that are part of connecting-room combinations to be allocated last, so they remain available for guests who specifically need connecting rooms.
• We would like that certain spaces (eg. The spaces we have defined as suitable for dogs or the handicap friendly spaces, could be allocated last.
•
In other words, we would like to be able to define an allocation priority/ranking between spaces, potentially combined with conditions such as length of stay.
