  1. Ensure that the items for each stay are assigned to an individual bill. It is confusing, if there are different stays and prepayments displayed on one bill and extra work is needed to separate them for check-out.

  3. Is it possible to create push notifications for check-in? That when the room is checked in, a message for the staff member appears on the display.

  4. The Price Overwrite Periods of the rates should be longer, than 12 months.
    When a company contract is valid for 15 months it needs a extra adaption. This should be possible to create it once.

  5. the update overview on Mews is great, but could it please be possible to add a delete button once you have read the update. that way you know exactly which ones you still need to familiarise yourself with and don't end up with a list 500km long!

  7. Currently you can only extend the departure date of multiple reservations in a Group booking if the Arrival date / time match exactly for all selected reservations.

    i.e. when individuals arrive / check-in at different times in the day, we can then no longer bulk update the departure date for the group booking.

  8. We close the Hotel for Christmas. I want toclose all my rooms for 3 days. But in Mews it's just possible to do that room by room. Why I don't can choose the rooms in a list. Now I make a reservation with 0 Euro for the whole Hotel. But in the statistics, it will appear as we was selling the rooms, even if the price is 0.

    The same when a client is changing to another room, you have to deparate the rooms ) but just when the client is allready check in, before i's not possible to separate…

  9. When checking in a guest in Mews it is not immediately apparent if their is a Payment Card on file unless you select the "Payment" button to see if one is present which is an extra click. If it is already there, it was a wasted click. If the card is not there, then you will need to enter the Payment Card. It would be good to see if a credit card is present or not in the reservation screen before you touch the "Check-in" button. Additionally, if there is no credit card or preauthorization on the card if Mews…

  11. I ask for payment at the arrival, once the client has paid I have to close several windows to get to the check-in button. That would be great to have this button just after closing a bill.

  12. When moving a reservation from one category to another, one must first unlock to change the room category. Then the system assigns the room to a room in that category automatically, then we need to unlock the system again to move the guest to the room which we have already decided to move them to.

    Can th the lock function not lock in when changing room categories as the process is not complete until we move them to the correct room. Or just make it that when you change room category that Mews does not assign any room to the…

  15. Wij hebben een "receptierekening" aangemaakt waarop wij lopende dingen boeken zoals fietsverhuur, cadeaubonnen verkoop, receptie shop artikelen. Er staan inmiddels heel veel regels op deze rekening. Wij scrollen ons rot. :-) Is het mogelijk om er een kalender aan te hangen. De lopende dingen van die dag zie je in beeld en mocht je iets van een andere dag willen zien dan klik je op het kalendertje om die dag in te kunnen zien.
    Ik hoop dat dit duidelijk genoeg is. Ik heb met Stepan gesproken, hij weet volgens mij wat ik bedoel.

  16. Automatic linking of meals based on full board:
    first meal is breakfast on the 2nd day of the stay, last meal is dinner on the day of departure. This doesn't make sense.
    option 1: we choose a standard of first / last meals (for full board stays)
    option 2: set by default by Mews that the first meal is dinner on the first day, and the last meal is lunch on the day of departure (for full board stays).

  18. Every day we have to sort all cars in our garage by numbers, to check if all is booked.
    With the guest report we can sort them but only ordering by room or guest. It would be very helpful to sort them by car registration number.
    By exporting in Excel it is possible, but then you have to look for every room-number in MEWS.
