  1. The Availability block report (i.e. once exported to Excel) only outlines the blocks that are in place however it would be great to include further details such as how many rooms are held in each block.

  2. Instead of overbooking, we use Inquired Reservations as a waiting list to optimise occupancy. It'd be great to get notified when a reservation is cancelled that there are inquired reservations for that date which can potentially now be confirmed.

  5. When we open our arrival donut report we would like to see really quickly who paid and who didn't pay.

    For example: green dot-paid everyhing, yellow dot, an amount less than 50 euros to be paid and red dot more dan 50 euros to pay.

  6. When using "add another reservation" it should be possible to change guest/customer name. Instead of adding rooms for same person

    Thank you for sharing your request with us. It is currently possible to add a new guest profile when adding another reservation to an existing group.


    In order to do this, you can click on the  add another reservation button > Mews will pre-fill the date range and open the second step of the new reservation screen > In the customer section select the "X" to remove the current profile that has been pre-filled and add the name of the new customer you would like to add. This will create a new reservation with the name of the new customer to your group.


    Should you have any issues, please contact our customer care team.

  7. Availability block report there are two statuses: optional & Confirmed. I would request that you can also have a cancelled state aswell. That way you can have a overview of all cancelled blocks, statistics regarding which blocks were picked up and easier communication within the hotel and the booker.

  9. At the moment CTA restrictions are applied as of check-in time (ie. 3pm 3 days prior to arrival) for channel bookings. However, mews applies this in the distributor as of midnight (ie. 3 days prior to arrival). We would need all channels and the distributor to have the setting applied at the same time (midnight), to avoid parity issues.

  10. It would be nice when notifications come in of new reservations, to be able to select them as read instead of clicking them one by one. It is important for our organization to check all reservations that are made online. Group reservations also come in regularly, now we have to click on all notifications one by one to mark it as read, then have to search again between the notifications where we left. If you could select the notifications and click as read, this would be easier.

  12. Currently a user can set a Two-factor authentication for his/her account.

    I would like to see an option in the employee settings to force Two-factor authentication for specific accounts. (tick box or similar)

    We would use this for all admins and user with many rights as they are sensitive.

  18. The old occupancy report is still available but not the previous availability report.

    We used this report daily to modify the distribution between room types (mainly for internet channels to increase available single rooms and decrease double). It was easy to read, to modify and with a clear view on several future days.

    The new report doesn’t give a direct view on number of rooms available for each room category. The table is also less convenient when it comes to change these rooms allocations (several sub-menus whereas the access was easier before).

    Thank you for sharing your feedback with us regarding the new availability and occupancy report.

    We currently provide the option to swap back to the old Availability and Occupancy report, by selecting the button on the top right hand side of the new report labelled "Old Occupancy report. Selecting this button will switch you back to the old Occupancy report as requested. Once you are able to view the old Occupancy report, select the Availability under “Mode” filter.

    We have updated your request title to solve for comparing availability by room type over a long period. This request has been updated as one to be upvoted by the Mews Community.

  19. Include the estimated departure TIME to the check-out report.
    During the online check-out guests can choose the estimated departure time. Could we include this respond to the check-out report overview as a new column for example after the online check-out column?

    Would be especially helpful in planning the peak times at the reception and organising the housekeeping the best way.

  20. When you log into the PMS, it shows an occupancy chart and underneath how many arrivals, departures, etc there are for the next few days. However, it would also be good to show HOW MANY AVAILABLE ROOMS there are on each day for the next few days. And I mean rooms and NOT occupancy. So, if someone asks if we are fully booked or if there is availability in general, one can very quickly see that there are still rooms available before digging in further to see which rooms and room types are still free. Ideally and to be honest…
