Much easier to see if just the entire actual day of the reservation is blocked and not the middle of the day.. we have 3pm check-in and 10am check-out - it's much harder to tell where the actual reservation is if only half the day is there. Would rather have it be like FrontDesk was with the entire day blocked. We know they're checking out in the morning - much easier to see when trying to schedule our cleaning crew as we only have 6 villas and don't have cleaners in every day

Our previous FrontDesk app did that - perhaps it could be optional to have one or the other view. I find that just blocking the actual day of the reservations is easier to work with for scheduling our cleaning crew as we only have 6 units and they do not clean every day... having it half into one day and half into another day is confusing at quick glance

Would also be extremely helpful if future reservations, already check-ed folks, departed folks all to have a different color on the tape chart. There's a different color for future and for blocks, but the checked out reverts back to white.
Each function should have it's own color

We only have 6 units (all are 2 bedroom) - 4 are designated K & Q (3 of which are pet friendly) and 2 are designated as K & T. We can "move" reservations on the time line from K & Q to K & T, but can't do the reverse unless we go into the reservation and change K & T to K & Q and then we can move them. In our case - it's not a higher or lower category - just bed preferences and when only a party of 2 - pretty much irrelevant - should be able to move them in either direction - without having to do multiple steps in the record first. We're small and don't use booking sites, etc - so much of MEWS is totally irrelevant to us and more work than we had at FrontDesk which was clean and simple :(

We generally block out space for holidays when we are closed and do not accept reservations - would be handy to be able to do it as a block and not one at a time

Very good idea - we only have 6 units and only 4 are available for pets - that would be awesome

Have just found that blocked space automatically changes the space status to dirty. We have only 6 units and our cleaning schedule is not daily - we block space to insure we don't book "dirty" units and we block space because we are closed on major holidays.....just because the space is blocked does NOT mean the unit is dirty. The auto space status change means I can't depend on the status for scheduling cleaning and have to waste time going back over my cleaning schedule unit by unit to see what is clean and what is not. Unacceptable.
