This status update is part of our ongoing work to simplify and streamline how our UserVoice feedback forum operates. We are reducing the number of statuses to two (Idea to Upvote + Released) to help manage expectations about where each idea stands and to minimize the number of status updates required from our product teams. It would save a lot of time (and misstakes) if products, rates, etc can be duplicated instead of always having to start from scratch. Except for the obvious hassle of having to remember all the settings it would help us in keeping name-standards etc.
function could be an option on any specific product/rate/category to "duplicate". That would open the "new entity" page but with the same options/texts etc pre-filled, ready for us to change as needed before saving.
