  4. (EN) When the customer returns their card, I place the card on the SSalto Reader. Click the card to check-out button. The card is read and the corresponding room is displayed at check-out.

  5. To retrieve a guest reservation during a remote check-in, the customer often use his name and/or email, and/or its 3rd party booking number (e.g. booking.com or other booker external number).

    Currently reservation lookup by customer name or email can be accomplished with:
    1. A first http call to lookup for the customer ID using his name or email
    2. A second one to get the reservation using this customer ID.

    And reservation lookup by name, email and/or 3rd party booking number can also be achieved by:
    1. An http call to retrieve all the reservations within a date range (and…

    You can fix this by calling GetAllCustomers (where you can filter by email, first name, last name) and then fetch all companionships by Customer Id. Lastly you can load Reservations that already contain 3rd party booking number

  10. When integration partner receives token of property to connect to Mews PMS, the partner only has email address of the hotel.
    Can we ad more fields such as :
    1-phone number of the contact - so that the partner can call directly the hotel if hey do not reply by email.

    2- have a field with the number of rooms of the property to save time and start building the demo

  13. We would like to connect to TripAdvisor directly to get direct bookings. As I was told this is possible only if Mews is integrated with TripConnect. We represent 3 properties in Georgia (+ one coming soon). Please take this into consideration.

  14. If the GuestID can be written on the RFID in Sector2 of the Onity KeyCard System, Guests can authenticate at the POS for placing F&B orders on the room bill.

    In this case there's no more need to write down the guest's name, only the key card is needed. The key card is read by an RFID reader coupled to the POS. The guestID is used to authenticate the guest and post the bill to Mews calling the API's. Supplementary the guest's last name can be checked to engage two-factor-authentication.

  16. Within Mews, there is a messaging hub where users can have two way conversations with guests.

    By adding messaging to the Connector API, integrators would be able to push in messages and receive messages. For example, a chatbot.

  17. We now have the ability to connect task to reservations in Mews and this functionality has been added to the Mews API. However it would be really useful to have this added to the Zapier functionality as we have a number of zaps that create tasks in Mews, currently just putting the reservation number into the description field.

  18. For the packages that include breakfast or other meals, the integration with the POS should post into the POS the meals that have been sold in the PMS. That way people at the restaurant have to know ahead and keep their inventory system.

  20. Create a booking widget with minimal info to take you already to step two in booking process

    The widget would look like this and should be possible to place anywhere on a website:

    This widget should be minimal but somewhat customisable initially, later developed further.

    The date picker would take the user the second step in the booking process, having already completed the first.

    Coupon should also be there.
