  1. Connector API: Remove stay products from reservation

    With this endpoint, an integrator would be able to remove a stay product from a reservation through the Connector API.

    Integrators are currently not able to update a reservation already existing in Mews with notes. Creating an update reservation endpoint would allow an integrator to do so.

  3. Connector API: Get all employees

    Currently via the Connector API, you're not able to retrieve information about employees in the enterprise. With this endpoint, information such as creator and created date would be visible.

  4. Connector API: Get all rates' pricing for an interval

    Currently, RMSs can call 1 rateID for any interval. It would be helpful to call all rateIDs for an interval instead.

  5. Connector API: Resolve the Name of product Categories (by CategoryId)

    This would allow for integrators to retrieve not only the product category id but the name of the category as well when calling Get all products.

  7. Connector API: Creator to be part of the accountingItems/getAll

    Integrators connecting to Mews' API can retrieve accounting items, such as revenue for one night's accommodation. Some integrators would like to receive information about which staff member or which system created the accounting item.

    With this extension, this data would be returned.

  8. Connector API: Extend Configuration Get with Hotel's T&C's

    Some integrators build self service kiosks, with this extension to the configuration/get endpoint the terms and conditions the property has loaded in to Mews will be returned.

  9. Connector API: Retrieve customer files

    With this endpoint, integrators would be able to retrieve customer files from Mews such as the registration card which was digitally signed on the Mews Operator.

  11. Connector API: Extend "Update reservations" state (optional/confirmed)

    Currently, the reservation state can be updated from Optional to Confirmed via the API. Extending this would allow for the state of the reservation to be changed from Confirmed to Optional.

  12. Real-Time Restriction Change Notifications

    I would like to suggest an enhancement to the Mews Connector API. Currently, the API provides a getAllRestrictions endpoint to retrieve restriction data. However, hotels frequently update their restrictions, and if these changes are not promptly communicated to channel managers, it can result in incorrect availability being displayed, potentially leading to unwanted bookings.

    To address this, I propose the implementation of a notification system for restriction changes, similar to the existing notifications for rate changes or reservation changes. By providing real-time updates via webhook or websocket, downstream services can more effectively manage and synchronize restriction changes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
