Connector API: Add get auto-login link for reservation online check-in
API POST parameters:
- Reservation ID
- Client Token
- Access token
Returns link to auto-login for reservation online check-in
Use Cases:
Send scheduled transactional emails for costumers to fill the check-in online.
Ops team doesn't have to trigger the email manually via Commander.
Push more relevant information inside the email.
Don't get emails from a different domain for the online Check-in.
Get ownership of the tone in the communications with our clients.
58 votesWe reopened this request for further upvotes. It is fairly clear what is being requested and it will need more investigation from Mews. In the mean time we would ask you to continue to up vote if this is still a required connectivity feature request.

Connector API: Messaging
Within Mews, there is a messaging hub where users can have two way conversations with guests.
By adding messaging to the Connector API, integrators would be able to push in messages and receive messages. For example, a chatbot.

We need to have possibility to get an CreatedUtc and an UpdatedUtc on accountingItems.
Could you please update your API which would allow us to get this dates ?Thanks !!

The new Payment Requests feature is great, would be useful to have the functionality added to the API so you can generate payment requests from integrations.

Attach Company Id to bills
Currently unable to attach the company to a bill via Connector API. Having this enables possibility to fully automate bill management for corporate/event bookings.
One way could be to allow integration partners to specify CompanyId in the bills/add endpoint.

Origin Connector
We need a more detailed descriptions in action log and in origin for those integrations that use the connector API.
We currently have multiple integrations (room checking, IReckoU, Omniboost, Zapier, Pxier, etc.), it's is impossible to understand in our analytics (POWER BI) through which channel a booking came if it just says connector for all.
Same applies for action log. If something went wrong. How do we know which integration made the change if all indicated system?

PayPal as an External Payment Type
Paypal is an external payment type in Mews Commander, however we cannot send an external payment via the API with this payment type and has to be listed in the notes.

Connector API: Update Reservation with Notes
Integrators are currently not able to update a reservation already existing in Mews with notes. Creating an update reservation endpoint would allow an integrator to do so.

Expose "Reservation Source" field via API
It would be useful to add the new field "Reservation Source" to the API as many hotels use it interchangeably with "Channel Manager" to indicate channel information.

Websocket Event: Online Check In
We'd like to be able use a websocket to monitor when a guest has checked in online in Mews to be able to send the guest a mobile key.

Connector API: Get all employees
Currently via the Connector API, you're not able to retrieve information about employees in the enterprise. With this endpoint, information such as creator and created date would be visible.

Filter Items for Type or/and subType
we are retrieving reservation data and are looking for the attached products.
Currently, we use /reservations/getAll and extend the items:true. Thin gets us Items with SubType (ProductOrder/SpaceOrder) or Type (ProductRevenue/ServiceRevenue). We are only interested in the Product-reated items.
to save resources we would appreciate either an extra endpoint /items/getAll (equivalent to /accountingItems/getAll ) with the possibility of filtering those Items after SubType (ProductOrder/SpaceOrder) or Type (ProductRevenue/ServiceRevenue) and reservationIDs or even better a filtering for Type/Subtype in the reservations/getAll endpoint.22 votes -
Endpoint accountingItems/getALL: return "external Identifier" field in PaymentItems
In MEWS GUI, PaymentTab of Customers' profile, we can add external payment and fill "external identifier" field on this external payment.
But this field is not available uisng API.

Include Cancellation Reason in Reservations/getall
In the call reservations/getall, 'Cancellation Reason' is not included in the response. This would provide integration partners with more granular data of why a reservation was cancelled and improve 3rd party reporting and revenue management. Available information for cancellation reasons from the system would include:
- COVID-19
- Other
- Confirmation missed
- Booked elsewhere
- Force majeure
- Guest complaint
- No show
- Price is too high
- Service not available
- Input error
- Invalid payment
- Travel agency

Expand Webhook functionality to match current Websocket options
Currently, an integration partner can listen to Websocket notifications to receive real time updates on reservations, command, and space events.

Connector API : send rates policy
We are working with Wihp to display our rates on Google. Actually Mews is not able to provide the cancellation deadline for each rates, other OTAs are able to provide rates per room category and with cancelation deadline. We need to be able as well to show to our customers our cancelation policy per rate category.
