Pre-Authorizations - correct wording
Hi Mews team,
We are using Mews Distributor for our Pay on Arrival dates with activated 1% Pre-authorization on credit/debit cards.
However, the Distributor states that customer will "pay" the 1%.
For example, if the whole booking costs £350.00, the customer will be pre-authorized for £3.50.
Mews Distributor currently states that the customer will "pay £3.50".This is incorrect, as full payment, not a remainder, will be taken on arrival.
Can we please have the wording changed from "pay" to "pre-authorized" or similar.

Manually set the default date in the booking engine
The booking engine always defaults to tomorrows date

get-all-reservations is not returning CompanionIds
I guess this is a bug in the API.
The call never returns any CompanionIds within a reservation. The companions have been added both, by API Call and via the MEWS frontend1 vote -
Currency select should be change automatically
Price shown on Booking engine is always in Euro first.
This is not convenient for guests who book outside euro countries.
If guests select their language then rates change in their selected currency automatically.

iDeal as an External Payment Type
iDeal is an external payment type in Mews Commander, however we cannot send an external payment via the API with this payment type and has to be listed in the notes.

Add more actions possible into Mews through Zapier
By doing more actions Mews to Mews on Zapier we would be able to have an infinite possibility of automations in various fields such as :
- payments : charge 50% remaining of a flexible rate, 30 days before arrival
-preauthorisations : on day of arrival, charge automatically the preauthorisations. If failed send email to team and guest...
- out of order : if maintenance issue task, turn property to OOO

Zapier: New guest kiosk checkin
Nikki here, reaching out from Zapier Support. One or more of our mutual customers has requested a new feature in your app.
Specifically, they'd like to be able to trigger a Zap off when a new guest checks in at a Mews kiosk (in order to send notifications to their team that the guest has arrived).

In our MEWS Distributor we have a widget comparing our prices with booking.com / expedia / hotels.com: "Book online, get more"
I would like to be able to change this text. I would like to change it into "Book online, pay less" and change "prices" in "rates"2 votes -
Batch update reservation customer
Currently the
[PlatformAddress]/api/connector/v1/reservations/updateCustomer
endpoint only accepts a singleReservationId
If it could accept an array of
ReservationIds
this would allow us to perform batch updates of customers on a selection of reservations in a single API request as opposed to many repeated requests.Thanks!

Roomcheking - Assaabloy do not disturb and make my room status
Assaabloy provides now door locks solution with possibility to the guest to press a button to set status do not disturb or make my room.
Does the DND/make my room status communication between Commander and Assa Abloy could be developped ?
Then communication between commander and roomchecking ?

CHECK IN/OUT TIME
Pull the guests "check in and check out time" data from the channels and update directly to the reservations "arrival" section.

Clicking the 'X' in Channel Manager Mappings
When you are in a channel manager rate in the channel manager mappings and you click the 'X' in the top left it puts you back to the main channel manager settings page rather than the list of channel manager rates.
When you're trying to delete a space category you need to unmap it from the channel manager rates first, if you have a lot of rates this becomes very time consuming when it's putting you back to the main page each time.
Generally this could be made easier with an "unmap from all rates" button

Connector API: Update Reservation with Notes
Integrators are currently not able to update a reservation already existing in Mews with notes. Creating an update reservation endpoint would allow an integrator to do so.

Connector API: Get all employees
Currently via the Connector API, you're not able to retrieve information about employees in the enterprise. With this endpoint, information such as creator and created date would be visible.
