  3. Employee subscriptions
User rights should be moe extensive.

Fe. one needs admin rights to see mail queues, where we do not want to give reservations, these access rights, however would like to give them the opportunity to see whats been send.

We come across this quite often.

Also user rights do not match in help, do not fully match, since combinations sometimes give rights to users. Fe. manage spaces + manage customers, enable users to put spaces ooo.

  4. Not only to make it easier for employees but also to prevent people from having multiple usernames and passwords so that when someone is terminated, the access to all systems can easily be removed.

  6. Display the final value for the fully flex rate in the rate management calender instead of changing everything back to the base rate after 2 weeks. Allows us to track the ratemanagement history

  7. It would be much more comfortable if there were only available rates in the rate selection of the reservation screen. especially if the rate should not apply to the space category.

  8. When you manage rates and all rules in PMS, you could not round up your final price. For exemple, special offer to 10% OFF, the final price will be $101.52 instead of $102.

Hello from the Mews product team. Thank you for your suggestion. Unfortunately, this request will not be added to the Mews development roadmap and is unlikely to be delivered. We will need to do a thorough discovery on how it will affect prices and taxes for our clients globally and rethink how our system may have to be changed under the hood to accommodate this change. Thank you for sharing your suggestions.

  9. Who wants to pay VAT on something we didn't get paid for !!!!

When an item is offered with the Complimentary external payment, cancel the VAT of the item.

The optimal way to handle this is to have a complimentary product with a negative price and the same VAT and use it to balance out the original item instead of using a complimentary type of payment. The VAT will be balanced to 0 and doesn’t need to be paid and count of items will still be trackable.

  11. To setup 2 policies applicable to 1 rate who has different season instead of creating new rates for each season. The current system block guest from booking through 2 seasons. Example: A stay Dec 17 to Dec 25. December 17 to 20 is low season and December 21st to 25 is holiday/peak season. Low season is 1 policy and Peak/Holiday is 1 policy. Currently, I have 2 rates due to the policy issue.

    Dear Mews-ers,

I trust this message finds you well!

I'm thrilled to announce that this particular subject is firmly on our roadmap for the year 2024. To gain a deeper understanding of this topic, I'd greatly appreciate your insights and would like to explore the possibility of setting up a discussion in the coming weeks.

Should you be interested, please don't hesitate to respond to this email.

    Eagerly anticipating your response!

    With warm regards,

  12. If I am only to have certain roomtypes available for a ratecode or for a voucher, I currently need to place "close restriction" one by one on every roomtype that should not be sold for this specific rate/voucher. IF you could define what roomtypes a particular rate or voucher should be valid for, you would not need to make all these close restrictions.

  13. In addition to fixed price adjustment, many properties would prefer to use a relative adjustment field, which would be used to adjust prices based on extra or empty beds. This setting could allow revenue managers more flexibility as they decide on pricing for each space or space category, particularly in case the number of guests does not exactly match the number of beds in the chosen space type.

  15. Once you have created a rate, you should be able to amend it and link it to a base rate. If you have already mapped it on your channel manager, you do not wish to delete it and restart, you just want to now link it to a base rate or change the base rate link

  16. Problem: When walk-ins asking for a breakdown of the rates per night we are not able to see this. We can only see the total price of the stay.

  18. "The rate management screen in Mews contains a lot of information and is often used to plan overbooking strategies and revenue management for upcoming weeks. Redesigning this page could provides a lot of opportunity to improve the interface, make it more user-friendly, and include the most valuable details for the people who use this screen most.

Let us know! What would you like to see on the new rate management screen?"

  19. Add a multiple select option for Space Categories inside rate set-up.

I don't necessarily want all space categories sold on every rate that is set-up. It would be ideal if I could select the applicable space category inside the rate rather than having to "always" apply multiple restriction across many rates and room types, this has potential of creating hundreds of restrictions (10 rates/10 spaces).

    Thanks for the consideration.
