Be able to tick off multiple rates when applying restrictions so you don't have to create multiple restrictions for different rates.
At the time, I can only create a restriction for one rate or rate group at a time. I would have to create multiple restrictions to cove two rate codes. For example, I would like to create a 2-night minimum for my Airbnb rate (Travel Agent Group) & all my rates that flow off the best flex rate. So I have to create 2 different restrictions and keep up with changing both when I make changes.

Occupancy Report Category Name to be Frozen
When viewing over 2 weeks of occupancy and you scroll right, the name of the categories disappear. Keep it frozen so you never loose sight of what category you are looking at.

Allow Minimum Rate Setting on Rate Management
As revenue managers, we sometimes need to change many dates in one go. Unfortunately, mistakes can be made that can lead to reservations with the wrong rate (a really low one).
It surprised me to realise that MEWS did not have a way to set a minimum rate to be sent to the booking channels as SiteMinder does. We should be able to set the rate we do not want to sell cheaper than that year round. For instance, if we never sell our master rate for less than 59 Euro, it would be great that Mews would not allow…44 votes -

Copy Rates: I would like to copy the whole rate (including pricing) most times I need to change just small things. And the best overall would be if I could copy this into other hotels I have in my profil. That would be awesome!

Multiple independent restrictions
Would be nice to be able to create rate restrictions on a specific space category (ex : minimum stay of 2 nights on the space category **) but that the general minimum stays restrictions of 4 nights on all properties still apply. It will help to do some revenue management A/B test without breaking the general restrictions or creating dozens of restrictions.
Could be maybe managed :
- by being able to select spaces categories by ticking some boxes (such as the 'Days' criteria works in restrictions, where you are able to select/deselect days in restrictions).

Allow to set "hours" in the minimum advance restrictions
At the moment, the system only allows to create minimum advance by days. Sometimes we want to have a release of 6 or 12 hours not the entire day but the system doesn't give that option.

Voucher Menu
In the summary screen of the voucher menu you only show the Name, Company, Travel Agent. We would like you to add in Rate Code and Expire Date in the overview. As its end of the year we now need to click into every voucher code to check if the voucher is still valid or not. We need a better overview on the created vouchers.

split restriction
Split an existing restriction into 2 or copy.
When I have a restriction on overall level for a whole year and I temporary need to remove that for 1 date (for example to make a group reservation) it would be useful to be able to split the existing restriction in 2 or simply make a copy and alter the dates.39 votesHey Mewsers, Good News! Restrictions Management screen
Rather than having all restrictions based on rates, a new management screen could be introduced for general restrictions. From here, Mewsers could create independent restrictions and then apply them to rates or rate groups as necessary.

You can easily update/modify an existing reservation, even when a restriction applies. No warning is shown (e.g. MinLOS is disregarded when updating a booking)

Simple automatic yield management functionalities for rates
It would be great to have some simple functionalities to help the rates yield management such as soon for example, as the occupancy of a certain category is above 60% increase rates by 10 EUR or 10% .

Group product report by product category
The Product Report is a great tool to identify all products that your property may offer and to help identify daily needs for your operations department. An additional filter to group products by product category could save some manual calculation as it could then show all totals within the report.

Overriding Dependent Rates
Some of our rates are stand-alone during the week and dependent during the weekend. At the moment we have to ajust the weekend rates manually each time the base rate changes as mews doesn't support rate manipuliations on a daily bases per room type. We would definitely need the option to adjust dependent rates the same way as you adjust the base rate.

Extra person
When charging an extra guest, MEWS should allow percentage based on the daily rate.

Plus and Minus complimentary items
When we want to give items complimentary to our guests it is a lot of work for FO to do this. You need to add and delete the item, but this shows very strange on the bill.
For example we offer turndown service with cognac and cheese. In order to have a complete picture for costs we need to add this on the bill and delete it again. It is a bit strange if you see 1 cognac in plus and 1 cognac in minus, the same for the cheeses. We also provide complimentary minibar so now we need to…

Allow hotels to have multiple commission rates available on Travel Agent Contracts - midweek rate of 10% and weekend rate of 15%

Availability in Rate Management
Right now in Rate Management screen, properties are able to see Occupancy in percentage. By implementing this idea, the number of available spaces will be displayed on the same screen.
