Process EXIF rotation information for uploaded images
When taking the picture via iphone in portrait mode, it uses EXIF to handle rotations. So in the preview mode it looks ok, but after uploading and redownloading the image is stripped of these information and shown in the incorrect rotation settings.
There should be library to handle this. I would not suggest trying to solve this from scratch as there are too many scenarios.
Open Navigator on the iphone.
Go to your Personal information.
Tap to change your picture and take a new picture in the potrait mode, upload and save.

Collect business address / billing address
during check in (at reception, kiosk or online) or online check-out there need to be the option to fill in the business address.
At the moment there is only the possibility to add the personal address.

An optional booking to be confirmed only with a credit card
At the moment when an optional reservation is made for a guest manually, the guest will receive an email from MEWS and they can just click on Confirm or Cancel.
When they Click on Confirm the optional reservation is immediately confirmed in MEWS but no credit card details are requested to guarantee the reservation.
We want the system to only give the guest the possibility to Confirm the reservation once they have inserted their credit card details first.

Enable properties to deactivate the On-line Check-in option.
Please allow properties to disable the online check-in function at the guest portal.
It is great that guests can access the guest portal, use the chat, see the reservations and fill in personal details as well as personal details of the other members that are traveling.
We would like to keep the "chat with us" placeholder in the confirmation and prearrival email templates so guests can access the guest portal, check their reservations, chat with our reservations' team and fill in personal information, but deactivate the online check-in option.

Navigator -> fully functional concierge
Turn navigator in a complete concierge, where guest can, on top of what's already available:
- View all details of the reservation: PRICE, info about the space selected, ...
- manage the reservation (change dates, cancel it, add or remove guests, ...)

Ask for review within guest journey
It would be great if guests would receive an automatic e-mail after departure to review their stay and if we could choose to show these reviews to other guests in the distributor when choosing/booking a room.
Alternatively, guest can be asked to provide review during online check-out as well.

Show real/more reservation details in Navigator.
The information showed in navigator is not enough. Especially for guests with multiple reservations/cancellations. I am missing at least: Confirmation number, rate type, room type, price, extra products.

Rename "the online check-in" to better reflect the feature's essence
Please have a look at this issue with the online check-in.
In short, we need the following to be activated when the guest proceeds with the online check-in option:
1. Identify if the room is ready prior to proceeding with the online check-in, if the room is not ready; then the guest won’t be able to check-in.
2. Guest information updated.
3. Get guest credit card information.
4. Charge the guest's credit card upon online check-in for the full stay/addons extras despite of the cancellation policy of the room rate.

Online check-out for guests who are in a hurry
Hey, I was thinking it would be cool if there is an online check-out option for guests who are in a hurry- just in case the queue is longer at some times- they could check themselves out via the plattform with which they booked and put in the keycard in a machine (like a ticket machine). To avoid people leaving without paying open bills, the machine could decline the keycard with a loud noise and inform us at the reception. I know that this might seem too good to be true and not manageable but I have actually been to…

we already offer the online check-out to guests who are in hurry and who want to skip the queue at the reception.Guests can do the online check-out from their phone, tablet, or laptop. In case there are some unpaid bills they are required to pay for them, they can add their billing details or claim items from minibar if your property have any.

Bill Preview to (Property) Email
On the body of the email the guest receives, it would be good to change the signature line in the email. We would like to change “The Mews Team” to “AutoCamp Russian River”. Our guests don't know who "The Mews Team" is and it should default to the property name.

Navigator translations intereference with Google translations
The Navigator Website has several different languages available. However, every guest that does not speak English will get the google translate notification. If a guest enables this option, any language will get translated to the selected language. For example: German to German, which results in an unreadable text.
This is highly recommended especially for German houses. In some text it even says "you die".

Stop online check in for under aged guests
We're facing difficulties in some properties where under aged guests are checking in online. There should be a way to stop those online check in. At the moment they could just pick up the key on the operator kiosk and go to the room. Therefore we would accommodate them, without knowing they are under the allowed age, which is against the law. We do have the responsibility to control the age of the guest. This already happened and cause complains and frustrations on hotel and guest side.

As the 'Mail Templates' section is already limited, a lot of HTML and other code is needed for the formatting of emails. Please give us the option within the Mail Templates section to send a test email to a custom email address.

marketing opt-in at the online check-out
Proeprties are willing to have the Marketing subscription opt-in to be offered to the guests at the moment of the online check-out for the guests who did not subscribe to receive the marketing notifications at the check-in. Guest might change their mind during the stay

Send Before start email for all new reservations not only 48 hours in advance
If you have the before start template set-up, this is triggered to be send 48h prior to arrival. However, if guests make a reservation 24h in advance, this template will not be send. It would be better if this template is send to all new reservation made within the 48h window as well. Because it is not logical that only guests who booked earlier in advance receive necessary information for their stay.
