  1. Possibility to show on the booking engine ONLY the rooms available to book once a date has been selected and not show the one already booked and not available anymore.
    From a sales point of view, we would rather show the rooms we sell and not the one we already have sold.
    If a visitor on our website wish to book a specific room type, which in this case is not available anymore, he will most likely book somewhere else. It does not add any value to our property to show the guest what is already fully booked.

  2. differentiate the markup by competitor. EG: Booking =114%, HRS=110%, Weekendesk=120%,etc., because markup percentages are different per company.
    Now it is only possible to give One markup for all chosen Competitors.

  3. Currently, when booking with Mews Booking Engine, it won't allow me to use the payment cards stored in 1password.

    It'd be great to allow this to make the whole booking process easier.

  4. As this is in the marketplace for booking.com or channel manager, we would disable the connectivity with Mews booking engine.
    It allows us to keep the quotation tool on the pms but do not have the rates online.

  6. A space character at the end of an email address should be simply ignored and not be producing an error message.

    This is just a small thing, but well made form can handle this. :)

  7. When you are in the booking engine, the property logo appears at the top left. On most websites, when you select the logo it brings you back home. In the Mews Booking Engine it does nothing. There is an "X" Box at the far top right corner that accomplishes this but with some users the "X" may mean to close the window. It would be a nice feature to be able to click on the logo and return to the home screen where ever you are in the booking engine.

  8. I set up our parking slots as a bookable service.
    In the Mews booking engine, the guest sees a "bed symbol" at the availability.

    It would be nice to have a car/parking symbol there, not a bed. :)

  9. Currently a guest can only search for dates; checkin and checkout. Some guest have a strong preference for a particular apartment type and they want to know on which dates this apartment type is available. Currently this is not possible. Guest can only try a million times by entering dates and hope it is bookable. The solution can be calendar view or at least provide info on which dates there is the first availability. Apartment 'Superior' is available on July 25'th for 4 nights. With a calendar view (see AirBnb example) it is easy to see the free available spots.…

  10. In the "Categories" screen there is always a "Maximum persons" info below the room name.
    For beds this always shows "Maximum persons: 1", which is quite confusing for a lot of guests. - It looks like there is only 1 bed left.
    Could you remove this info? Or is it possible to enable/disable this information by ourselves?

  11. On the check-out report: Guests with NO open account on the current stay and only in future stays should also be on the top line to quick check-out.

  13. In France, it is now mandatory to give the postal code of the guest when you want to close the bill. So it would be very convenient to make it mandatory when the customer makes the reservation. Or to leave us the choice to add it as a mandatory information or not.

  14. If we are able to customise fields like "category" hotels can call it room, we can call it apartments etc. Just much less confusing than category for the user.

  15. Display the description of the Rate Group on the payment page. It is cumbersome to users that the only way to communicate deposit and cancellation policy text is within each and every rate plan. It is not sustainable and lots of opportunity for error. The policy text should be associated with the rate group not the rate plan and should display on the payment page.

  16. Currently, there are only a few options for how emails are automatically sent. It would be ideal if you could control which booking channels will automatically have emails delivered. For example, AirBnB has a very strict off-platform communication policy. If we could send emails automatically to everyone except AirBnB, or even tailor our emails granularity for each channel, that would be immensely beneficial.

  17. I have a question after all:
    When guests book a room through our website - is it possible to set here that we receive an email about it?
    I find nothing in the MEWS settings, whether you can set this.

  19. Having date picker, category, room select, checkout and confirmation on all separate URLs instead of sitting on the one url the whole time would be much easier to manage with tracking and it we could re-direct to our own custom confirmation page.

  20. Putting promo code on the date picker is not a usual user journey and they will be confused. Having it on the checkout page is much more normal and better for UX.
