  1. Currently we create guests' Unique IDentifiers' (UIDs) from email addresses and it works great in most cases, however this is a flawed approach as email is not a required data point, and if a guest does not use one this effects duplicate guest profiles in MEWS (once the guest returns to the property for another stay). Properties then have to merge these profiles, losing time, and reporting accuracy.

    In my opinion this is not good user experience, is inefficient and requires a more elegant solution.

    We could for instance generate them from: Name + Surname + Street name instead.

  3. This is one for the account creators out there and should already be a thing.

    Adding users to each site individually is a ridiculous process that takes far too long. There should be a centralised account creation page where you can just tick a box for which sites/properties you want to assign them access to.

    The fact you cant have multiple sites open at once is another hurdle that needs to be addressed.

  5. All properties to use Currency Exchange Integration for the sale of their rooms and products, while at the same time having a flat exchange rate for currency exchange services at front desk.

  6. For bigger properties (chains) there should be a way for Admins or Product Champions to be able to keep track of their open Support Cases. This will be useful for admins who are managing large portfolios and need to have visibility over open Support Cases.

  7. Because we have several properties it would be great to have the option to export the settings in mews. this because there are so many options 1 different setting can make a huge difference how the system works. Now we have no quick way to check the settings in mews.

  8. Supporting a bar code reader integration. The property wishes to scan products with bar codes.
    They would like to scan physical product such as ''bottle of wine'' and it would automatically add to the guest's bill.

  10. Mews holds a lot of very important operational data for each property, which is very important to keep record of. Properties often rely on this information to determine future data as well, so with individually accessible and complete storage of each property's historical data, users will always be able to access this data for future reference.

  11. Properties in the US and Canada verify identification of each guest who have made a reservation. Mews doesn't support automatic verification of guests making contacless check-in natively in Mews not sufficient.

    There is no possibility of any information from ID to be scanned; or the identity of a guest verified upon arrival.

  12. Create new possibilities for properties to rent their spaces for additional bookable times. Bookings by minute and hourly bookings.

    This will give properties more opportunities to increase their revenue.

  13. We have multiple properties. When we want to manage the multiple properties at the same time we have to set up multiple browsers because when we change the property in one browser, all the other tabs change as well in the same browser. We would like to manage our properties without changing the other tabs when you change one tab from property.

    Thank you for your suggestion, we've recently introduced multiple sources tracking which allows reporting on multiple channels for each reservation.

  16. When working with multiple properties, it would save lots of searching when within the shared guest profiles you could see in which property the guest has a reservation.

  18. Option to mark the room, where HSK is currently in. So Front office can see where HSK is currently in and the Manager knows wehere they are (especially if they have more houses / villas or so on one property)

  19. Add A feature to relocate guests when overbooked.
    When pressing the button a pop up box appears where relocated hotel and rate at the other property needs to be filled.
    In case of multiple nights a box to select if the guest will return to the property. If selected yes move the reservation to tomorrows date with a classification in the profile.
    If no cancel the reservation after the action.
    Be able to run a report next day

  20. To include an option (at Property setup configuration) to enable/disable automatic filling of guest NIF with its ID when scanning a guest ID document.
    This would speed up the check in a little bit. Thanks
