Associate new products with courses
When creating a new product, the user should be able to associate it with a course. For example, Soup would fall under Starter.
If the waiter wishes to amend this during service, they can do so. However, if no selection is made, the item will automatically default to the course assigned when the product was created.

Nous aimerions pouvoir bloquer des chambres en masse et non un à la fois. Souvent nous devons fermer un aile de l'hôtel mais pas nécessairement tout l'étage 3. Pouvoir choisir exemple je veux fermer les chambres B3-01 à B3-32 mais ne pas fermer le G3-01 à G3-32. Nous devons régulièrement fermer une aile et non un étage et cela faciliterait la tâche de bloquer en masse et non un à la fois qui est long à faire. Hotello nous le faisions régulièrement. The possibility to use one link/QR code where the guest enters their room number instead of having unique QR codes for each room. This would allow us placing the one link into other digital resources for the guests for ex. guest app or email communication.

Different menus for different times of the day
Currently there is no option to set up a time slot for breakfast menu and for a la carte menu. All the items are displayed all day long. The only way to inform the customer is to leave a note in the Shipping information field, so it is the first thing displayed above the menu. However, this solution does not guarantee the guest would not place a breakfast order at night.

VAT Breakdown for Discounts
Currently, discount reports only display the total discount amount. There is no breakdown of the discounted products by VAT rate (e.g., 0%, 7%, and 19%). Adding a VAT-based breakdown would simplify reviews and ensure more accurate tax reporting and analysis.

Automatic reports for payrolls
Could you please confirm if it is possible to schedule an automatic monthly export or report for credit card and cash tips collected through Mews POS?
Our HR and payroll department needs to receive the total tips (broken down by employee / server) at the end of each month to process them directly into payroll.
If this automated scheduling is available, could you advise on:
How to configure the automatic email delivery to our HR team (frequency, format such as CSV/Excel).
Whether tips can be itemized per staff member in this automated report.

POS: Bundle items should group identical products on kitchen tickets
Kitchen tickets should automatically group identical products even if they originate from bundles, so that identical items appear as “3 × Starter” instead of three separate lines.
The problem
We run a daily half-board menu in our hotel restaurant (as many other do too):
Starter
Soup
Main course (choice: Meat / Fish / Vegetarian)
DessertThe logical setup in Mews POS is to create this as a product bundle with a choice for the main course.
However, when the same bundle is ordered multiple times (for example 3 menus with different main courses), the kitchen ticket does not group identical…

Bonjour,
Lorsque nous sommes dans l'onglet ARTICLES d'une réservation, Commandes produits nous pouvons annuler l'article mais pas le recréer si besoin.
Car souvent le client annule sa prestation puis souhaite la réserver de nouveau.
Au lieu d'aller dans ajouter produit, serait-il possible de cliquer sur un bouton qui permet de recréer la prestation directement.Merci par avance

Wenn ein Gast vom Zimmer aus per QR Code bestellt, bekommen wir den "einen
Beep am S007" nicht mit!
Wenn dann sehen wir nur aus Zufall, dass wir eine Roomservice Bestellung haben, wenn wir AKTIV alle 30 Min auf das S700 schauen.Das kann aber nicht die Lösung sein! Wir bitten die Entwickler nach einer Lösung zu suchen, z. B.
- Automatischer Bon Druck bei Eingang einer digitalen Bestellung
- Alternativ Automatische Email bei BestellungWir empfinden dies als ein sehr dringendes Problem, zu dem es eine schnelle technische Lösung braucht!

Bei einer vollbesetzten Tafel/Tisch/Gruppe von vielen Gästen muss der Servicemitarbeiter den Tisch beim Bezahlen aufteilen. Er zieht sich die jeweiligen Produkte aus der Gesamtliste heraus, die der entsprechende Gast zahlen möchte. Leider werden bei der Rechnungsstellung die Produkte nicht zusammengefasst, so dass der Servicemitarbeiter viel Zeit dafür aufopfern muss, die Liste hoch und runter abzufahren um die jeweiligen Produkte zu finden. Es ist absolut selbsterklärend und bei anderen Systemen auch der Standart, dass Produkte, die auf dem selben Tisch liegen, beim Bezahlvorgang zusammengefasst werden. Alles andere ist Quatsch!

Zusätzliche Sprache für Produkte im POS
Aktuell können Produktnamen nur auf eine Sprache hinterlegt werden. Wir wünschen uns pro Produkt ein zusätzliches Feld für einen englischen Produktnamen, damit internationale Gäste auf Rechnungen eine verständliche Bezeichnung sehen.

Digital Ordering on different outlets
It would be useful to link different digital orderings to different outlets.
In particular having the QR codes set in different areas, the customer to scan and see a dedicated menu, and to let the order go through a specific outlet related to the area where the QR is set.

Mews POS-PMS
We use Mews POS and Mews PMS. When a consolidated bill is posted in the POS and then transferred to Mews, we cannot see a breakdown of the VAT rate for each service or product on the invoice generated by Mews PMS. We kindly ask you to make a change, as this creates problems with accounting for and reconciling these invoices, especially when integrated with KSeF in Poland.

ARCHIVE CASHIER WITHIN A POINT OF SALE
Be able to "archive" the cashier we do not use anymore even if we already have past invoices assigned to it so it does not appear while closing new tickets
