  1. In regards to the segmentation of the block, it would be amazing to be able to set the segment per block as we normally segment each of our reservation on a much more granular level.

    As you can imagine, setting the segment directly in each reservation’s module can be quite time consuming. Being able to add the segment on block level would solve that.

  2. it doesn't seem possible to move individual reservations from one group to another.
    for example if you have a recurring (annual) group and have by mistake added a booking to the previous year, you are not able to move just one reservation to the current year.
    merging groups is not an option, in this case.

  3. I would like to print a report of arrivals from the past which shows the guests ACTUAL check in time. Any report I produce shows the general 3pm arrival time but not the actual time the check in was performed on the system.

  4. Currently to check in a guest, You have to navigate too many screens between payment, guest info, and check in. Instead when you click check in, MEWS should automatically prompt the guest info then payment instead of having to navigate multiple tabs.

  5. Being able to group segments together for reporting purposes E.g. segment "Negotiated" could include "Negotiated - Leisure", "Negotiated Business" etc.

  6. Currently reservations that are cancelled partly are still counted full in the total room nights in the Reservations Report.

    However the total rooms revenue is only confirmed and optional revenue (with filter confirmed, optional, checked in, checked out selected).

    It would be more clear if the calculations are the same. In my opinion cancelled nights shouldn't be counted if not selected in the filter.

  7. It would be useful to add more conditions to product rules; e.g., comments -- this would allow to create product rules based on matching words in the reservation comments.

  8. When clicking on Occupancy, and then hovering the cursor over the various cells, there's lots of information show (which is great!)

    It shows 'Customers' but it would be great if this could be further broken down into adults/children/infants. Could this be a possiblity?

  9. I would like to be able to run a report of unassigned (unblocked) rooms with date so that I can locate them quickly on the timeline. (& block them)

  10. In Mews Analytics you now have the ability to save default view. However, in the same screen some properties are using multiple views and have to change the filter settings each time. It would be good to have the ability to have multiple favorite views of reports and not just one per screen.

  13. When a note is created in a Reservation there are times that a corresponding Task must be created based upon the notes. These are currently two separate functions.

    Example:
    Note: Wedding Package
    Task: Wedding Package, deliver chilled Champagne, cheese and crackers by 4pm, 6/21/21.

    It would be great if the Note section you had an option to create a corresponding task at the same time. Thereby insuring a specific note is not missed as a Task.

  14. When you add a product on the reservation screen, it would be nice to be able to select what date you want it for instead of being put for the all stay and after have to cancel the date you don't want it

  15. L'écran "aperçu des réservations" montre les arrivées en commençant par les prénoms et non les noms. Ceci serait plus simple d'avoir les noms des clients EN ENTIER, même sans le prénom!

    The "Reservation overview" screen shows arrivals starting with first names and not last names. It would be easier to have the names of the clients IN FULL, even without the first name!

  16. would it be possible to make the room number guests are allocated to or have stayed in more prominent on the overview and dashboard.
    also, it is very annoying you are not able to see the full name. perhaps move the three icons on the right corner further down?

  17. when you try to set the date in the (new) task, the calendar heights changes continuously between months. this is really annoying as you need to watch where you click if it is for say 5 months later.
    either change the calendar position or introduce being able to link task to an arrival / departure event

  18. it is very annoying that when you search and choose a group, one of the bookings is ticked. if it is a large group, you are not always able to see which one and need to scroll down to unclick it before you are able to make any chances to other bookings. waste of time and also huge potential to make mistakes

  19. When we receive bookings from destination management companies, the original source of the bookings often come from travel agents before they are sent to a destination mangement company and finally the PMS. In Mews, we are only able to view a single travel agency which means that we can only see the name of the destination management company; we are not able to see the name of the travel agencies that made the original bookings.

    We would like our sales and marketing teams to have insights on the travel agencies that are making reservations.
