In Hungary, we also have specific local payment methods. In order to integrate Mews with the Hungarian fiscal registry, it is essential to support these payment types (e.g. SZÉP Card, SimplePay).
The ability to customize external payment types is therefore crucial. For example, Chèque-Vacances is a payment method mainly used in France and is already available in the system. However, a similar local payment method with a high transaction volume in Hungary, the SZÉP Card, is not available and cannot be added.

The current solution, to add manually + and - charges on the bill is not professional. There is always the possibility of a mistake.
Mews consistently claims to reduce administrative workload so staff can focus more on guest experience. Yet in the case of such a basic operation, all those benefits effectively disappear. (when you have multiple type of charges on bill, food, drink etc...)
