AI assistants are becoming the way small properties run daily operations — checking availability, reviewing reservations, housekeeping status, and guest messages. Today every assistant needs a custom integration against the Mews Connector API, which also requires Enterprise API access that many small properties don't have.

An official Mews MCP server would let any MCP-compatible assistant (Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, and others) connect to Mews through one standard protocol, with scoped permissions per property: read reservations, availability, and housekeeping; manage guest communications; and perform routine operations with the property's approval.

This would make Mews usable with modern AI tools without custom development, especially for independent hotels and small groups.
