Add more actions possible into Mews through Zapier
By doing more actions Mews to Mews on Zapier we would be able to have an infinite possibility of automations in various fields such as :
- payments : charge 50% remaining of a flexible rate, 30 days before arrival
-preauthorisations : on day of arrival, charge automatically the preauthorisations. If failed send email to team and guest...
- out of order : if maintenance issue task, turn property to OOO

Map & send inventory for 2 codes mapped to the same room
This would allow to connect the same space category in Mews to several space categories in a channel manager extranet.

Zapier: Connect to tasks to reservations
We now have the ability to connect task to reservations in Mews and this functionality has been added to the Mews API. However it would be really useful to have this added to the Zapier functionality as we have a number of zaps that create tasks in Mews, currently just putting the reservation number into the description field.

Add guest information to Salto key cards
In order to read the Salto key cards at the restaurant or other services of the property, the key card needs to include additional information about the guest.
Could you evolve your integration such that your Mews connector positions the “FirstName-LastName-Telephone-Email” information in field #12 of the frame?
Field #12 of the frame corresponds to the data of virtual track 1 of the badge.
Please note that up to 121 characters can be entered on the virtual track.

Send a push by rate code
Can you please develop option to send a manual push for selected rate codes? At present when sending a push it includes each existing rate codes and it slows the system down for an entire day!!

TESA Smart Air by Assa Abloy integation with Mews
We manage local accommodation flats. The guest access to the rooms is done through a pin code that we send to the guest before the check in date. Our system is TESA Smart Air by Assa Abloy.
Currently to send pins to the guests we have to manually input into the TESA system the room information, check in and check out date and guest name, generate the code and send to the guest This procedure is time consuming and error prone.

Use multiple addresses for google hotel search
We are currently using a 1 property set-up to manage 2 different properties in mews as reservations are sometimes moved between both properties and the multi property set-up doesn't allow to just switch bookings. Because of this 1 property set-up, we can only link 1 of our properties to the Google Hotel Search integration. Therefore it would be usefull for us to link our separate property (with different address) to google as well.
In our opinion, the necessary fields for google could be filled-in in the integration itself, and not taken from the property settings in mews.

Please remove MEWS market place from the dashboard
The marketplace being on the dashboard is irrelevant to front desk agents and quite frankly not the place to be selling products. If MEWS wants to upsell a property then that should be done through other avenues or create a separate "managers/owners" dashboard.

Key cutter mapping - current way is time consuming
Currently, a user who is setting up the key cutter will need to manually map individual spaces if their space numbering format is different from that in their key cutter software.
This can be very manual and error prone as it involves several clicks and manual typing in of door lock numbers in the key cutter software into Mews. This cannot be done in batch currently.
One suggestion would be to have a downloadable excel file with all space numbers in Mews, the user then downloads the file adds the corresponding door lock ids from their key cutter system. Then…

Encode GuestID on Electronic KeyCard
If the GuestID can be written on the RFID in Sector2 of the Onity KeyCard System, Guests can authenticate at the POS for placing F&B orders on the room bill.
In this case there's no more need to write down the guest's name, only the key card is needed. The key card is read by an RFID reader coupled to the POS. The guestID is used to authenticate the guest and post the bill to Mews calling the API's. Supplementary the guest's last name can be checked to engage two-factor-authentication.

Telefoon/adressenboek voor personeel
Wij hebben in het verleden met een systeem gewerkt waarbij de mogelijkheid was om gebruik te maken van een telefoonboek waar alle gegevens van het personeel in stond. Wij vonden het zeer prettig om hier mee te werken. Wellicht is het een idee om een soort rapport te maken waarin je de naam, adresgegevens en telefoonnummer in **** noteren. Dit zou je bijvoorbeeld kunnen plaatsen bij het kopje 'profielen'.
