  3. Currently, a user who is setting up the key cutter will need to manually map individual spaces if their space numbering format is different from that in their key cutter software.

    This can be very manual and error prone as it involves several clicks and manual typing in of door lock numbers in the key cutter software into Mews. This cannot be done in batch currently.

    One suggestion would be to have a downloadable excel file with all space numbers in Mews, the user then downloads the file adds the corresponding door lock ids from their key cutter system. Then…

  4. If the GuestID can be written on the RFID in Sector2 of the Onity KeyCard System, Guests can authenticate at the POS for placing F&B orders on the room bill.

    In this case there's no more need to write down the guest's name, only the key card is needed. The key card is read by an RFID reader coupled to the POS. The guestID is used to authenticate the guest and post the bill to Mews calling the API's. Supplementary the guest's last name can be checked to engage two-factor-authentication.

  5. Wij hebben in het verleden met een systeem gewerkt waarbij de mogelijkheid was om gebruik te maken van een telefoonboek waar alle gegevens van het personeel in stond. Wij vonden het zeer prettig om hier mee te werken. Wellicht is het een idee om een soort rapport te maken waarin je de naam, adresgegevens en telefoonnummer in **** noteren. Dit zou je bijvoorbeeld kunnen plaatsen bij het kopje 'profielen'.

  6. I would like to ask you to make the possibility to map from SynXis group rates. In SynXis there are standard rates and groups. If I create group in the SynXis with a group rate for specific terms and conditions, the rate should be linked to groups and not to specific rates. Therefore I am aksing if it is possible for PMS MEWS to create following message for mapping this group rate:

    Currently the type of message request is the same as the response, in this case OTAHotelRatePlanNotifRS which is directly linked to rates specifically which is incorrect.

  7. When integration partner receives token of property to connect to Mews PMS, the partner only has email address of the hotel.
    Can we ad more fields such as :
    1-phone number of the contact - so that the partner can call directly the hotel if hey do not reply by email.

    2- have a field with the number of rooms of the property to save time and start building the demo

  9. On occasions it happens that the data on the Sage report is incorrect and the report needs to be reissued. Is there a chance to get this without having to go through Omniboost support but just by clicking on a button to re issue the report?

  11. Quickly create a new Mews enterprise using your existing Booking.com property account. This could include:

    • General property information, including the address, supported currencies, and general contact information

  14. In order to read the Salto key cards at the restaurant or other services of the property, the key card needs to include additional information about the guest.

    Could you evolve your integration such that your Mews connector positions the “FirstName-LastName-Telephone-Email” information in field #12 of the frame?

    1. Field #12 of the frame corresponds to the data of virtual track 1 of the badge.

    2. Please note that up to 121 characters can be entered on the virtual track.

  15. We have Booking.com directly connected to Mews via the Marketplace.

    It sometimes happens that we get disconnected (mapping error --> price too high because mistyped).

    Right now, you can only set one email address. This email address will receive reservation related issues and integration related issues.
    But these issues target completely different departments in a hotel (front office vs. IT).

    It would be very helpful to be able to set two email addresses:
    1. For all reservation related issues
    2. For all integration related issues (mapping errors, sync stopped, ...)

  19. It appears that clients are able to make multiple requests for integration via the Mews Marketplace, even if they have an existing integration in place. It would be useful for Mews to undertake some form of validation prior to issuing a request thus negating duplication of effort.
