calendar event also shown in "create new reservation calendar"
If we already use the calendar events section in the property, it would really be most useful, to also show the number of an event in the calendar upon creating a new reservation. This would help to quickly explain our guests why there might be a higher rate or high demand for this period.

Information of reservation when you put the mouse on it
When you put the mouse on a reservation it shows information which is not needed and doesn't show information which is useful.
We know the arrival and departure and name and room number and type of room. I would like to see the number of guests, source of reservation (travel agent, Booking.com, Expedia.com...).
Or maybe to have a choice on what information we can see.20 votes -

Overboeking niet overzichtelijk genoeg
Kan bij een overboeking een melding komen voor welke datum de overboeking is? Dat scheelt het soms lange zoeken naar de plek waar de overboeking is.

Automatic check-in only for those guests who completed the online check-in
Would it be possible to make a difference between guests, who completed the online check-in and all others. At the moment you have to choose between checking in all guests automatically or none.

Space Category Ordering
Some categories we have are on the same level of ordering (or there is no exact ordering) which is tricky to manage in Mews as there always has to be an orden. E.g. in case of a room move to a different category (on the same level) it would actually not be an "upgrade" or "downgrade". Which makes it hard with the setup of a diffusive strategy

Fellere kleuren
We zouden het fijn vinden als er op de tijdlijn meer met fellere kleuren gewerkt zou worden. Aankomst, ingecheckt, uitgecheckt/ toekomstige boeking.. Dit maakt het onderscheid makkelijker.

zoom out timeline
We get a lot of overbookings which are not really overbookings we just need to move rooms around to do it.
Currently mews does not allow us to zoom out the timeline far enough to be able to do this. We have many bookings for more than 2 weeks so we cannot see the begginning and end of the booking on the timeline. This means it is impossible to move bookings around on the timeline to be able to fit in the 'overbookings'. this is going to be a huge issue for us if not fixed as we have this…24 votesHello, the monthly view is available in Mews and allows you to display bookings longer than 2 weeks. The moving functionality is currently not supported, but we will consider it in the next iteration.

Pin the red bar at the top of the timeline, easy for switching rooms for hotels with 100+ rooms.
To switch reservations with hotels with 100+ rooms, the possibility to pin the red "overbookings" bar at the top of the screen when you are scrolling.
That way you can switch rooms easily whilst keeping your position on the timeline.Basically the same as the "freeze panes" function in Excel.

Be able to do a Room Move with a closed bill
We need to be able to move one guest from one room/bed to another one and to edit the reservation even if the account is closed.

Thank you for your feedback. It is currently possible to move a reservation from one to another both for cases when a bill is closed as well as cases where the reservation has been checked out.
In order to use this functionality, please ensure that the reservation is unlocked. The date range for which you can edit this infromation depends on the editable history window for your property. You can learn more about the editable history window in this guide.

Upgrade Urban Deluxe and Urban Extra
We zouden graag zien dat een DELUXE kamer of een Urban EXTRA kamer niet geupgrade kan worden naar een triple. Dit is namelijk nooit een upgrade want deze type kamers zijn ruimer en daar betalen mensen voor.

Add Operator Check in Statistic to Reservations widget on Mews Dashboard
Mews does not provide the number of check-ins completed using the Mews Operator, In the reservations tile on the Mews dashboard a number of statistics are displayed in a widget. It would beneficial to add the number of Operator / kiosk check-ins to this widget

Split future reservations
Guests may know in advance that they have companions coming to stay for only part of their reservation. Therefore, properties may want to apply these changes as soon as possible, rather than waiting until after check-in. This additional feature could allow users to split future bookings as necessary.

Create bookings from timeline
Create bookings directly from the timeline by clicking and dragging to pre-fill your date selection and then complete all remaining booking details

Smart detection of tasks
So we have tasks and we can filter them out with departments. But I think it would be a nice touch, when you are going to tasks, it would predict department you are assigned to, and will show this by default, without filtering it out.
