  2. Currently, it is possible to adapt our registration cards in MEWS. However, if we do so, the registration card that a guest sees during their online check-in does not change. Both registration cards should be similar with the same data required.

  3. Hello,

    I have 3 proposals to make:

    First of all, in Spain we use different forms for the travelers registration. Besides the options mews give it to us, we use another forms such as: Spanish residence permit, European residence permit or ID CARD. We cannot find it in the programme. We only find: National identity document, Driver license, Visa or Passport.

    I want to ask if it is possible to add that kind of types in our MEWS system.

    Also, In Spain we have two surnames. So when we have foreign people from all over the world with just one…

  4. at the "arriving customer profile" and "in house customer profile" reports the E-Mail address is missing on the browser view.
    This view is used from reservation and reception to ensure that the profiles are completed.
    As the E-Mailadress is important for the whole communication (pre arrival, during stay, post departure and marketing) it is important to get an easy excess to the information on which profile the E-Mail address is missing.

  5. Why is it that if a name is entered incorrectly at reservation, that if it is updated in the system, it doesn't show up as changed on the timeline or the guest's dashboard?
    It's not until you go completely into the guest's profile that you can see the changes.
    EG: A guest uses the name Bob at reservation then later asks for it to be under Robert Dawson. The name Bob is the only thing that shows on the timeline and dashboard

  6. When downloading the rooming list and opening the excel sheet. There doesn't seem to be any order to how the rooms are lined up.

    It would be good if there was some type of order so that when creating bigger group reservations, it is easier to fill in the rooming list.

    The most preferred way is if the rooming list could have all the space categories "clumped together" ie
    All the single rooms are together, twin rooms and double rooms. As when we recieve the name list from groups, they are usually very kind and list the names with the…

  7. It would be good to have an history of name changes in guest profiles. It would also be very useful if we could find profiles even when searching for the old name in the search bar. That way we could find a reservation using an original email from the client, evenif the name in the reservation changed.

  8. Wanneer je de namenlijst downlaod met de nieuwe groepsfunctie (multiple reservations). Pakt die alle reserveringen in die profiel, dit is niet handig want voor groepen heb je wel is verschillende namen per reservering ( denk aan tourboekingen). Daarnaast als je de namenlijst downlaod staat alle datums door elkaar, dit is niet in te vullen op een normale manier. Alvast bedankt!

  9. To have a quick report for one team it would be easier to filter by product categories. For example food & drinks - to get a list of all products produced in the kitchen or spa & wellness to get a list of massages and treatments. Time of consumption would be another benefit for being prepared.

  10. At present, when you merge profiles, only the notes on the profile you chose to keep are saved. Any notes on the duplicate profile are lost.

  11. is it possible to personalize notes.
    So if you press Ctrl + F and at the top of the note appearse your name.

  12. This is a great feature, however it seems to be Euro-centric, in that the house numbers are being put at the END of the guest's address.

    Is there anyway to fix this so that Australian addresses always have the house number BEFORE the street address?

  13. Why do we have to fill in a the language of the guest when we later don't see it in the profile? Please also make the mailing automatically choose the guest's language when we manually send an e-mail (inquiry, confirmation...) through Mews.

  14. Require a valid CC on file in order to allow a reservation to become guaranteed. Reservations taken by phone / email / in-person don't currently require a credit card on file. A front desk agent can select "Cash" or some other form of payment for a reservation.

  15. It would be useful to add information in the Action Log on which guest was added to a reservation (either the name or a link, or by implementing a customer's profile identification number). Indeed, some customers sometimes have overnight guest(s) for only few nights during their stay, but after the occupancy is brought back to 1 Adult, it is not possible to trace back who was the second guest. In this sense, it could be useful to see in the Action Log which guest was added instead of only seeing the change in Occupancy.

  16. With the new group option you have the possibility to add multiple reservations to one profile. However when you add a big group of rooms in multiple reservations (think about tour bookings, same date 20+ rooms) in one profile, you see many reservations in your right screen (manage). It would be more clear if you create a drop-through per reservation date, so you do not see all the seperate reservations and rooms. Meaning that you will see all the reservations below eachother instead of also seeing all the rooms under the date. In this way you have a better overview…

  18. It would be great to have the possibility of adding a company sector of business (healthcare, hospitality, ...) and be able to filter data and analytics based on this information.

  19. When you scan a ID-Card or a passport, the system has a problem reading the date the card expires - especially if it expires somewhere around the years 2010 - 2030. The system alway reads 1910 - 1920?!

  20. When a member wishes to extended their stay, would be nice if their was "Extended" options in origin of booking so we can differentiate if a guest booked through an OTA then extended or booked through an email then extended because presently we have to mark them as "walk ins" and this dilutes our actually "walk in" numbers.
