  1. We have multiple properties. When we want to manage the multiple properties at the same time we have to set up multiple browsers because when we change the property in one browser, all the other tabs change as well in the same browser. We would like to manage our properties without changing the other tabs when you change one tab from property.

  3. We have multi-property and 1 gmail account - payment failure notification emails are received without a property name so we have to go property by property to locate the booking which has a failed payment.

  4. It would be great to be able to choose the optional release date in the settings for each property instead of it beeing fix and only being able to change manually.

  5. To include an option (at Property setup configuration) to enable/disable automatic filling of guest NIF with its ID when scanning a guest ID document.
    This would speed up the check in a little bit. Thanks

  6. If the property offers e.g. 10 baby beds the product should only be bookable if one of the 10 beds are available.

    Second option would be that e.g. only 2 of the 10 double rooms have the space for an extra bed -> restricting on room count

  7. For properties, only the reservation manager has access to the Rate Management in Mews. So when employees are changing the rate of the booking, they will not be able to know what was the original price of the rate. They will only see from the action log the original rate and not the original price. Properties are pushing not just the original rate but also the original price of the rate in the action log without the products attached.

  8. This is one for the account creators out there and should already be a thing.

    Adding users to each site individually is a ridiculous process that takes far too long. There should be a centralised account creation page where you can just tick a box for which sites/properties you want to assign them access to.

    The fact you cant have multiple sites open at once is another hurdle that needs to be addressed.

  9. As we are a couple properties using MEWS, it would be amazing to move postings from one to the other property in the same hotel-chain.

    So if a guest has consumed lunch in partner property, it would be amazing to post it on the room in our hotel.

Currently we create guests' Unique IDentifiers' (UIDs) from email addresses and it works great in most cases, however this is a flawed approach as email is not a required data point, and if a guest does not use one this effects duplicate guest profiles in MEWS (once the guest returns to the property for another stay). Properties then have to merge these profiles, losing time, and reporting accuracy.

    In my opinion this is not good user experience, is inefficient and requires a more elegant solution.

    We could for instance generate them from: Name + Surname + Street name instead.

  11. With a property where length of stay plays a role for pricing, it would be convinient to see the number of nights directly under the arrival and departure day (both in timeline, but especially on "properties" overview.

  12. sometimes when you open a reservation there is no information displayed (at all). you need to click on another tab to go back to your "properties" tab to view.
    this causes huge issues and mistakes

  13. Allow properties to be able to see their Average monthly space add ons and removals so that they can balance the Invoice issued by Mews for platform fees.

  14. either in the demo or real version, it is very difficult to gain insight on the guest experience of the communications. for example:
    * where do guest click to add their credit card details or how to disable the cc details.
    * what does the confirmation look like or get a sample of the pre-arrival communication.
    * what does it look like when you email the guest a copy of their bill.
    * what does a guest profile look like and is the guest able to see just the bookings at your property or all the mews connected properties
    *…

  15. If the property wants to assign different rooms to different people name that is separate but it should be by default while creating a reservation it should be under one name for all the group or multiple room unless needed by the guest.

    but mostly no one cares for that as from the guest side but from property we need to keep on merging them especially when we are running busy

  16. Add differents accounting categories with differents values for one stay product.
    Example : "Diner after check out" 130 €
    which includes 100€ in food, 20 in beverage 10%, 10 in beverage 20%

  17. Create multi-item postings to make upselling easier. Think of Valentine package with chocolates and a bottle of wine.

    Currently we need to create 2 items for different VAT calculations. It would make life a lot easier if we could make 1 item Valentine Package with an automated split per bucket.

  18. Properties should be able to customize their own origins as they may need to use more than the hardcoded ones, mainly for reporting purposes

  19. Use case:
    - We have an internal tool, synchronized via API with MEWS. We have access to Reservations, Customers, etc.
    - In our internal tool, we identify one Reservation (id-id = X, property-id = Y). In same internal reservation page details, we want to include a link to open MEWS in that reservation details: https://www.mews.li/Commander/Reservation/Detail/X?property-id=Y

  20. For chain hotels.

    When making a booking for a guest using the dropdown menu on the new reservation screen, credit card on file should automatically be charged and accounted for under the other property without needing to switch locations from within mews.

    ie: Customer is at Location A, and is making a reservation at Location B from the receptionist at front desk. The receptionist should be able to select and book Location B and have any deposits or charges autolinked to the guests card on file so that the accounting and deposits dont need to be manually reconciled between properties.
