  1. For example by configuration of a new property it is handy when you can export some configurations from an existing property and import this info in the new property.
    Such as:
    -pricing
    -space categories
    -accounting categories
    -accounting configuration
    -products

  2. To create a new filter ' by user' or 'group of users', to be able to schedule a report of reservations made the day before by specific users, e.g. reservations office users, not to have to pull the report and then filter by creator manually.
    Also, one report for all properties for multi-property companies would be useful.

  3. For larger properties is would be handy to filter the timeline by space category. E.g. if you have multiple categories the property can select only standard room in the filter to see only the spaces/reservations for the standard space category to change allocations.

  4. To have the option to export dashboard data from a guest profile or search from reservation report how many bookings/nights a guest has stayed in the property with a specified timeline.

  5. It is today possible to automatize preauthorizations but we can't decide the amount that need to be charged. For example an automatic preauthorizations of 500€ would be charged on check in time less 4 hours for a specific type of property (if failed, check in would then be restricted->an email is automatically sent). On an other property type it would be 1500€. I think it could be done through the space type

  6. It is very important for chains to be able to have a common database for all the hotels. Customer profiles should be shared between properties as guests are loyal to the brand and stay in different property in the same group.
    With Mews, a new profile has to be created every time in each property

  8. The no show email the property gets, stating all the reservations that were cancelled with the reason "no show", includes the reservation numbers and the customers' names. It would be perfect, to also have on that the room numbers shown where there were allocated.

  9. Many properties would prefer to see custom calculations of their revenue. While some properties use the Net value, others prefer to include service charges, late check out fees, etc. With a custom calculation tool in accounting configuration, properties could then easily calculate revenue in the way that is most valuable for them.

    Dear all, this idea is released! In Merchant Balances report you can find nice widget breakdown of your getaway payment card usage. Hope to hear from you all very soon in some new exciting ideas.

  11. Mews holds a lot of very important operational data for each property, which is very important to keep record of. Properties often rely on this information to determine future data as well, so with individually accessible and complete storage of each property's historical data, users will always be able to access this data for future reference.

  16. To properly analyze all data coming in through Commander, properties may want to look specifically at canceled reservations. Within our reservation report, an additional filter for cancellation reason could provide some important insight into that information so that properties can easily view and analyze those details.

    We are very happy to announce, that you are now able to filter by cancellation reason in your reservation report!

    How does it work?

    Simply head over to your reservations report, select the filter “Canceled” > Under Status select “canceled” > Group by “Cancellation reason”.

    You will now be able to see the reason reservations have been cancelled!

  17. For chains, it can be difficult to manage multiple properties, often switching back and forth using one reservation screen. However, this could be solved with a central chain reservation overview screen, making it possible to view operation data about all your connected properties simultaneously.

  18. As customers come to check in for their reservations, sometimes your property may have vacant rooms of a higher category. Therefore, notifications for your front of house staff regarding available room categories for an additional price could be a great way to upsell and book your location to full occupancy.

  20. Many properties have different cleaning schedules based on space type or standard interval. Currently there is only a single housekeeping interval available in Mews, so additional customization fields could allow properties to choose more detailed procedures for their housekeeping assignment and scheduling.
