  1. Currently when a rate is setup as based upon another rate (base rate) it is only possible to setup one fixed adjustment. However, since we offer rates with and without breakfast, occupancy based adjustments need to be different between rates with and without breakfast (for example).

    Wouldn’t a setup option be nice that allows to not derive all room / occupancy prices from the base rate, but only derive the base rate by a certain adjustment and setup the occupancy adjustments and room type adjustments.

    So like:

    Base rate: xyz-Rate (← the one the new rate is derived from)

  3. It would be much needed to have an option to choose which age category to link to rate groups and products. Now we are forced to sell 0€ products and also package rates for children, even though they are not available for children. Very handy for booking engine and less confusion to end customer.

  4. Es wäre toll, wenn man bei der wirklich super einfachen Buchungseingabe noch irgendwo die Möglichkeit hätte, eine kurze Notiz für den Gast hinzuzufügen. Wie zB.: Zimmer im Erdgeschoss oder Allergiker-Bettwäsche oder späte Anreise... Der Chat funktioniert ja zunächst nur von der Gastseite aus... Wenn bei uns ein Gast ein Zimmer im parterre oder barrierefrei wünscht, ist es nicht immer eine eigene Kategorie und es wäre hilfreich, auf ein vorheriges Telefonat oder einen Emailaustausch eingehen zu können. Also eine Art "Notizfeld"...

  6. We are using the 'New Mews Terminal Payment' tool since few month already.
    This is very helpfull indeed, except for the group on C/O this morning

    Most of people in the group are 'Blind or partially sighted'
    They had problem with the 'Mews Terminal( The terminal has no '''MARK' or feeling option on the screen to enter their PIN code to confirm payment.

  7. The customer want to be able to apply different value on Extra occupancy adjustment and age category on different period
    . Example, the child and teen are not the same value on high and low season.

  8. It would be fantastic if you could get the option to replicate stay restrictions on the base rate to all dependent rates.

    I know that there is the possibility of applying restrictions to multiple rates simultaneously.

    Some RMS's (Revenue Management systems) are playing with the idea of allowing you to send stay controls from the RMS. The only challenge is that they usually only allow mapping to one rate (your base rate), and hence any restrictions applied using your RMS will only apply to the base rate and not the dependent rates.

  9. It would be great when the company of booking agent which is related to the guest is shown in the reservation overview. For example shown guest name, related to company X.

  10. Ideally we would like to be able to reuse rates for promotions, just changing the name and percentage of discount.

    Currently if you change the name of the rate it will change as well in all existing reservations, when ideally this would not be the case.

    If we have the same logic that applies to the price (it does not change in an existing booking even if you change it later) to the rate name then we will be able to reuse rates without need to create a new one every time we launch a promotion.

  12. It would save a lot of time (and misstakes) if products, rates, etc can be duplicated instead of always having to start from scratch. Except for the obvious hassle of having to remember all the settings it would help us in keeping name-standards etc.
    function could be an option on any specific product/rate/category to "duplicate". That would open the "new entity" page but with the same options/texts etc pre-filled, ready for us to change as needed before saving.

  15. It would be nice to be able to promote specific products to specific rate groups segments or even more direct to specific rates and even better to be able to enable function for specific periods only.
    Example:
    - Offering Full day SPA access to OTA guest as an promotion in low season

  16. Would it be interesting if it was possible to discount of a rate depending on length of stay ?
    So for example:-
    - Stay 2 or more nights and save 10 %
    - Stay 3 or more nights and save 20 %
    - Stay 5 or more nights and save 25 %
    - Stay 7 or more nights and save 30 %

    This set-up will allow properties to create promotions that are a bit more dynamic

  17. I would like to be able to set my own name for the restrictions that would be visible to the reservations team when they are booking a reservation and want to check on why they are seeing a room as restricted.

  18. It would be interesting to be able to deactivate a product temporarily, without having to delete it permanently.
    By deactivating it, it remains easily available for reactivation, but does not pollute the list of available products or become a potential source of confusion.

  19. There is already a suggestion for having a inventory for stay products. Now that the products can be booked by the customer during the booking flow and online check-in, it would be interesting to have more configuration options for upsell products. Right now, it is very limited. Certain products need to be prepared or ordered on request. There should be a deadline of choice. For example: booking a bouquet of flowers can only be added 48 hours before arrival. Otherwise we can't order the flowers anymore.   20. A tick box on space types when setting los restrictions, at the minute you have to do every date individually, along with every space, so if you have 17 space types, and want a los on Saturday nights, you have to set the restriction 17 times for 1 day, 884 restrictions just for Saturdays, would be much easier if you could select the space via a tick box, at the minute if you do a generic restriction, you cant undo just one space.
    This could also be applied to rate codes.
