  1. I would like it if Mews could reassign reservations to a different space if it could open up another reservation. I have a couple of niche uses for this at my property but can think of a few ways other properties may use it too.

  3. Single Space Under 2 or more category type

    The feature to automatically disable the other category when one category is booked for a single room/bed is not available.

    For example Room 101 is a Quad room but I also want it to be a four-bed dormitory room. Depends on the first customer the bed will be selected as a quad room or a 4 bed dormitory. The other category will be disabled when another one is selected if dormitory it will be dormitory and quad room category will be disabled for that room.

  4. Automatic block on space prior to arrival and after departure, to ensure enough time to prepare space for the next guest. This is important for units or during peak periods, so that space isn't booked back-to-back when cleaning capacity is limited.

  7. As of now, there is no way to sell co-working desks and meeting rooms for 1-2 hours at a time, but only for half a day or an entire day. We need to have the option to be able to let the guest reserve the time needed in 1 hour slots.

  8. In my opinion it would better to view all information in one screen and avoid going to second screen. Thus we do not have to click multiple times to check availability status for each day rather we can have the full overview in one scree. Please add each space category and it's availability also in the first window / overview.

  9. The manager report counts the rooms wrong.
    The rport counts the spaces and not the rooms. But for example when a connecting room is sold as one family room, the report counts 3 rooms sold.

    This is just wrong and needs do be adjusted. The support sadly doesnt help and told me to post it as an idea.

  10. We currently have the problem, that we sell apartments (parent space) which consist of a living room and 2 bedrooms (child spaces).

    The two bedrooms/child spaces (Studio and Standard category) can be booked individually. This phenomenon should only come into play, when all other rooms of the same category are fully booked.

    Due to the automatic assignment, we sometimes have bookings in the child spaces which results in the apartment not being available and our staff have to change assignments themselves. Currently we have no option to exclude child spaces from the automatic assignment.

  11. have a simple "unused rooms" report available for legionella checks. Possibility to change number of unused nights.

  12. When creating a block and adding a "pod in a room" does not properly reduce the room pods available, looks like there is an issue with parent rooms. For example, if you hold an 8 pods in a 8 pod room, the 8 pod rooms appears as available online and in the system.

    This means that at the moment we can get overbookings if we do not load it as, , 8 pods in an 8 pod room AND one 8 pod room.

  13. We offer a 28% discount for stays of 7 nights plus as well as 30% discount when staying 29 nights plus.
    at the moment that means you have to set up different rates, which is not always ideal when working with a OTA or TOUR through your channel manager.
    is there anyway that this could be build in on Mews' side so that you are able to put in percentage discounts for certain lengths of stays (more than one per rate if possible)

  14. the monthly timeline is already a lot better to deal with long-stay enquiries, however, we have just oversold our property due to the fact that a short stay was not showing up on the monthly time line. we thought we had the full three months available when we didn't.
    this is of course not acceptable meaning we are not able to use the monthly view.
    may i suggest perhaps a weekly view? or just make the fields smaller (half or quarter their current width).

    This functionality has been released in a limited scope (only bookings longer than 30 days are displayed). We are moving it to the backlog and will get back to it later.

  15. Hi, there is limited "space type" to choose from, and not always describing the product.
    Could you add a option to make new "Space type" yourself, or at least add more options like cabin and lodge so it easier to keep types appart

  16. As we expand the capabilities of Space-Time on a frequent basis the use cases for it's usage grow. The current quota (or limit) of occupants that one can cap a Resource (Space) at is 100. This is not sufficient especially for properties offering Meeting and Events packages or using a Space for an event. There should be the capability to increase this further 100 occupants.

  17. Each "service type" offered to a guest needs to be associated with a "space type". Current "space types" are limited to physical spaces only.

    Some services, such as "Experiences", could use additional "non-tangible space types". Clients would have the flexibility and freedom to offer tours, trips, etc. which could also be covered under the Spacetime project as they often times use the same logic as the physical space types = inventory, rate and bookable timeframe.

    Adding non-physical space types to the selection of "space types" would very likely increase usability of Spacetime.

  20. Is it possible to add a Space Type Connecting Rooms which does not impact our hotel capacity?
    Example : we have connecting rooms based on 2 standard rooms, currently the connecting room add a space to our inventory which false our reports and global data.

    It would be great that the connecting rooms have a specific space type (composed of other spaces).
